I'm a rookie boat owner and need help identifying some of these engine components (see attached photos).

Item 1 - Not sure what this is - it connects to the ignition coil (I'm an HEI guy when it comes to SBC/BBCs)
Item 2 - Says VDO on the body and has a metal bar with a weight on it with 90 degrees of movement.  Easily movable by hand. All my gauges are VDO and this doesn't seem to affect any of them.

Item 3 - I think this is a starter relay but not sure, I've never seen one on a car.
