Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Twin-Turbo system...what is it?

Anybody recognize this twin turbo setup?? It's a 400 Ci Chevy on a 78 boat. I know the motor was pulled and rebuilt and twin turboed in 1996-1997. I've looked around but cannot find anything about this system.

Anyone recognize it??

Hulls / How are the 70s Biesemeyer Hulls???

Sold my 77 Hallett a couple months ago for a HUGE profit thinking the money made would help me cope. Well... It didn't. I regret getting rid of it!! I've had my eye on a few day cruiser projects/complete boats. How are the 70s Biesemeyer boats?? I don't know much about them...

Boats For Sale / 1977 Hallett Mini Day Cruiser 23ft

Extremely rare hull, hard to find in this size. Great boat, I love the way it rides. Pushed down the water by a low hour 460 Ford and a moderately modified JC Berk. Pulls very strong and sparks right up every time. Boat was very well maintained and sports it's original gel-coat still.

I did a few things to it when I got it just for my personal preference. Added mushroom top cleats, sanded and coated the all teak swim step, resealed the whole bowl and transom plate for my own sanity... Minor things like that.

The interior is in really great condition, the only potential negatives is a small "lift" is call it because it's not an actual tear in the captains seat and a slight squeak in the floor by the main passenger chair. Also a little bit of gel coat age showing on the deck. Can't hardly notice it unless you're up close.

The No Wake Zone / Ran outta gas in Parker....

So I'm flying down the strip and having a blast when my motor starts acting a little funny.

No big figured I was low on gas. Hit my fuel switch real quick to try and head off the stalling and doesn't work. So now I'm floating down the strip.

Bro in law comes back and tows me into the river gas station. Meanwhile I have 15 gallons in my other tanks. Booooo.

Moral of the story is SCREW those damn electric tank switches. Switching over to a manual switch ASAP.

I've got a 77' Hallett pushed along the water by a stock 460. I've got a Holley 750 on it and she is tuned perfect here (Torrance,CA) and runs great at the river. Was wondering how much issue I'd have with my jetting in Big Bear

Buddy has a condo up there with a private dock soooo why not right??

Jet Pumps / Where To Get Jet Boat Parts?

Hey everyone,

I'm totally new to this world and this environment. Just bought my first jet boat (77' Hallet Mini Cruiser) and was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of some places to get parts and what not for my boat. I know the internet is a good resource (ARS, JetboatPerformance...etc). But I was wondering if there was something in my area (lets say...25-30 mile radius) that I could go to in a pinch.

I live in the South Bay (Torrance, Redondo Beach...etc). West Marine and such are useless for anything Jet related as you all well know lol.
