Looking for a basic 350 and OD Trans (200 or 700r4) package for a car project.  Doesn't have to be high hp - but must be in good shape.  Could use a rear as well if you have one (9" or 8..

Going through my garage and found a few orange jacket pfd's if you need 'em.  Won't ship, but I'm in sd if you want to pick up.

I'd like to put it out there if anyone on the boards does this (or knows someone) that does it for a living.  I figure I'd get treated better here than looking in the yellow pages.  I have an old house built in the 30's that has heat and air from the 30's (or lack thereof).  Plenty of room in the attic or below the house for ducting.  I have a newborn and we'll be spending more time at home.

1996 Team Hawaiian Euro Open Bow.  Marine Power 454 HO Sportpac (390 hp).  Dominator w/Hydrolic Place Diverter.  I purchased this about 3 years ago and have had a great time with it.  After purchasing I had the boat completely gone through at San Diego Perf. Marine.  New high perf. heads (990's) complete pump rebuild with an "A" impeller (almost 7k in receipts).  This is a clean turn-key boat.  Starts up every time and runs like a champ -I haven't had a single problem since it was gone through.  The boat is a '96 but shows better than others of this age.  No corney Miami Vice pink and blues.  The interior is in near perfect condition, any aged pieces have been re-upholstered.  This boat has the best of both worlds:  the long V hull plows through rough water and the jet allows safe operation.  It cruises in the 40's (on the primaries) for good economy and will top out in the 50's with the right load.  Take all your friends out for a fun day on the water!  Tandem axle trailer included, along with a bimini to keep you cool on the hot days.  Good for local lake, lower river, and even Havasu.  It's been a sold boat for me -just moving up to the next level.  asking $16.5k

Does anyone know who's this is?  What would it really take to get up and running in my BBC?  I have basically a stock '96 Marine Power "hi-performance" 454.  I believe 8.5:1.  GM hi-perf. 990's.  Forged pistons, stock cam, holds 12qts-o-oil.  Currently shy of 400hp.  This looks like a full package deal.  Add bit of plumbing and a larger fuel pump to set it up?  I'd likely run 4# to be on the safe side so I can run pump gas.  Although I know the wife may kill me if she looses her sun lounge

Does anyone else have this problem?  I realize most the jets here aren't pulling up skiers and wake boarders, I tend to do so most of times I'm out for a couple of runs.  The pump barely trickles in at rest and while underway -just the slightest drip every once in awhile - but when pulling skiers the bilge fills pretty quick... should the thrust bearings be tightened down?  Kind of a catch 22, too tight = problems, too loose = water. 

Looking for a buddy of mine.  He needs a place to store his 22' Scarab (total length 24-25' I would guess).  Looks like the place he was renting from gave him a whopping week notice that they were shutting their facility down  .  If anyone has numbers or rates, I'm sure it would be appreciated.  Prefer central SD/or inland....  thankx

Question for you folks... I'm ditching my Q-jet and bought a Holley 800dp (4150, 9022).  I'm a newb on this so bear with me.  To make this change I'll need the spreed bore/square bore adapter, new gasket, and fuel log.  Anything else?  What about the carb spacers... any advantage to these?  Holley says this should work out of the box, is this true?  Any tuning needed?  If it needs tuning what really needs to be done except adjusting idle?  Any takers to help a brotha out   ?  Free beer and stripers (well the beer at least.)

I figure with some down time this winter it may be the right time to give the cruiser a little more pep.  I figure another 100 hp would be a good target to work for (~500hp).  Currently everything works flawless, I'm just kicking the ideas around.  I hate to tear down something that works, but more is always better!

The engine is a '96 Marine Power 454 ~390 hp (spinning an A ~4800-4900), forged pistons, new gm hi-perf sq port heads, rpm type intake, q-jet carb (works for now), 9.5:1 compression.  Pump gas is a must and not squeezing.

What are the options without tearing though everything?  Blower... too much compression?  Stroke it to a 496?  If so, what are your estimates on the build  $    Any help
