Dont want to watch my boat rot away like so many others and I love it too much to part it out myself. Heres the skinny I went to upgrade the interior before last season and when doing so found someone had done a sub par job repairing the subfloor, just flat our used the wrong materials. At this point i have stripped out their mistakes to the point of where the floor just needs to be reglassed and installed. I have been trying to connect with my fiberglass guy to get this done but between out two schedules I just cant seem to make that happen. The boat is powered by a two bolt main 454 with large Oval Port heads, Comp cams Xtreme Marine specs:
HYDRAULIC: Jet w/ B impeller, 10:1+ compression, river drags, bracket racing 3200-6800 298H 298/316 254/264
.575/.578 112°. Comp springs, comp hardened pushrods, comp valve guides, melling hv oil pump, full sump drag oil pan with baffles and windage tray. 1.7 Roller rockers, single carb tunnel ram, holley 770, 6an fuel system, holley blue fuel pump New MSD DIZZY and Plugwires havent been installed yet . Berkeley Polished 12JC, Hydrolic place diverter, loader, pump was fresh when opened up to be polished . The bottom of the boat has been worked this boat hauls ass for a full trim mini cruiser. Mid 70- to low 80mph. I have two new style bucket seats built off plastic frames for weight and strength. Has dual swim boards, stainless fuel tanks so no rot or dirty tanks! Nice tandem axle trailer with trailer brakes. $2000 as is. I have ALOT more invested in her but dont want to watch her rot away.

The hull in this thread is looking for a new home. Have Title. Needs a new home this week. This is a project, it will need pretty much everything including the floor redone. No JET, NO TRAILER, No swim boards, otherwise is still as seen in pictures. I will throw in the fuel tanks if someone is willing to come get her, otherwise she's gunna have to go to the bone yard. 559-802-8827 Located in Visalia CA which is between Fresno and Bakersfield in the central valey for those that do not know.

From Carb to oil pan, will include three point mounts. Was in my miniday cruiser when i purchased it. Hours unknown. Ran her a couple times with this setup and never had an issue. Last trip out the starter went bad, luckily when getting her back on the trailer. Pulled to swing in the 454 i had. I would have ran this for anouther couple seasons but im not a big ford guy and was having a hard time finding go fast goodies. $600559-802-8827

Considering doing an engine swap on my Tahiti. Has a Harman MARINE 455 oldsmoblie. I have the factory water logs and a set of Bassett headers in really good shape. Also has an offenhauser Single carb tunnel ram installed. Runs good and have never had a problem with it. Just looking to swap to an engine im more familiar with.

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Bow tank rusting, what are my options?

I have a 18' Tahiti that i picked up a coupled months ago. First three trips to the lake it ran seamlessly. Now i am having a fuel pressure issue under WOT and after lots off messing around and replacing pumps/ hoses it appers my bow tank is rusting. Anyone completed a saddle tank swap on something this size? or just replaced the bow tank with anouther comprable bow tank? Im kind of on a tight budget on this build
