Well I am still happy as hell with my 21 foot Bahner that I purchased about 4 years ago, great boat, great buy. My friend wants to go with us next weekend and he sold his boat a few years ago and wants to rent a nice boat for lake Mojave the 20th of Aug. If anyone knows where they rent decent boats, let me know. We have called around and nothing at all. He doesnt want a pontoon boat or little fishing boat, he wants a real boat :) Looking for next Friday and saturday. He lives in Temecula and will be heading up there with us next weekend? Anyone want to make some money? We are looking for a good rental.

I have been so busy guys for over a month with all the Fires in the state I havent been online to follow up with what is going on. I am going to try my best too make the event. Its been very hard for me for over 2 months of work, EMT school and now trying to get to the AVI. I will hopefully be there on Friday.

The launch ramp sucks no doubt. honestly its better launching at the Riverside than there :)

You dont have to launch there and i agree the lake lice was everywhere out there but again, its everywhere is it not? I myself enjoyed the beach, the location and if you spend time out on the river or going down to Moabi it makes for a nice day as well. Regardless I am going back and will enjoy myself.

Its like the little COLE I had, loved the boat..hated the fact I couldnt do SHIIIIIEEEEETT in it with the kids and friends. Now my new ride can hold 10 people, two coolers, radio with nice sound system, fast FORD in it, covered motor for the gals too lay out on top of the engine compartment and its a FREAKING jet boat still and sits low in the water and i can still go everywhere.

Well lets plan this event on another thread and I am in on it. The Girl friend still wants too go too AVI in july and i am going to head that event out but by all means I am down for this one as well. So when? What date and time? How about a official thread on it?

Well AVI has the river, the beach, etc. it might not be the best spot around but its better than Mo Choppy. I havent been too Blue Water and if everyone feels that blows as well i would like too hear more suggestions.

I am open as well and can edit the POST :) I would like to just not fork out $100 + a night and I called Blue water a few mins ago and they didnt offer much. If you had AAA it was $131 a night..ouch!

I would go too Parker at Blue Water IF i someone wants to get us all a group rate there? I dont want to head up the group leader there as I am unfamiliar with the area and group rate people.The biggest deal for me is a place that Everyone can get a decent discount and be on the river still. I am open too suggestions? I just spoke too Jesse at AVI and she is ready to give us the discount again. I called Blue Water at Parker and they are $131.56 a night with AAA.

Well jet boat owners, like last year I am going to lead the pack and start the 2008 Jet boat bash at AVI again. We had a great turn out last July and I am going to contact group sales again and arrange for this event again. We all received a great rate there and I will start the process of getting the NON Official event going. I am going to say for July 18th-20th. I hope everyone will follow again as well and reply to the thread and add your name on the list. I just spoke to Jesse in group sales and we will get the $80 a night for a standard two queen non smoking room. Remember, you have to register via the phone and call AVI and give them your group rate CODE which is  GDUNN08. Last year some people registered online through other means and didnt get the discount. So, here we go again,

Anyone have an idea on the water temp at Mojave? I have looked online and I am getting all kinds of different results. Has anyone been there last weekend or know of an accurate web site. The Park service site hasnt been updated in 3 years. I am going this weekend and curious what the temp is?
