IMO The AVI suks major asss, the water current at the ramp is    the dumbest location for a ramp I've ever seen. Jet skier's everywhere, everywhere. I'll never go back to that sh!thole. Just my cheery .02

You dont have to launch there and i agree the lake lice was everywhere out there but again, its everywhere is it not? I myself enjoyed the beach, the location and if you spend time out on the river or going down to Moabi it makes for a nice day as well. Regardless I am going back and will enjoy myself.

The beach was cool, the gas dock near the beach was cool, nah lake lice aren't everywhere - yet. I just thought it was incredible, freakin' amazing, that they chose the spot, of that part of the river, that has the most rapid current - for a launch ramp.

Camp down river on Indian land there is launch ramp it cost $80.00 per year for permit camp all the time you want use your ATVs what ever. Over 60 fish permit Extra $5.00 per year. nice beach no patrol boats. run what you bring lots of fast Boats go there blowen flat bottoms & jets. Camp on the water 3 miles to Avie you need 4x4 to launch but with large  group who cares, Avie rs can float down to camp beach, not to many jet skies down there. lots of beach to set up camp on good time there. camp out with real world bugs,snakes, Blood suckers, SAV and I can go home at night at least I can he may have to sleep in Boat. You can camp Needles to and come up river

just go up to big bend, protected cove easy to launch no current, I think it cost 5 bucks!

When I launched at Big Bend we had a guy anchored waiting for us, he got hit TWICE by skis. Then the fish cops where there telling me not to start my boat on the ramp cuz they're investigating an accident, two skis. THEN when I got back to the ramp the ranger was there all pissed cuz the ramp closes  at like 7:00.
