Well jet boat owners, like last year I am going to lead the pack and start the 2008 Jet boat bash at AVI again. We had a great turn out last July and I am going to contact group sales again and arrange for this event again. We all received a great rate there and I will start the process of getting the NON Official event going. I am going to say for July 18th-20th. I hope everyone will follow again as well and reply to the thread and add your name on the list. I just spoke to Jesse in group sales and we will get the $80 a night for a standard two queen non smoking room. Remember, you have to register via the phone and call AVI and give them your group rate CODE which is  GDUNN08. Last year some people registered online through other means and didnt get the discount. So, here we go again,

I would go too Parker at Blue Water IF i someone wants to get us all a group rate there? I dont want to head up the group leader there as I am unfamiliar with the area and group rate people.The biggest deal for me is a place that Everyone can get a decent discount and be on the river still. I am open too suggestions? I just spoke too Jesse at AVI and she is ready to give us the discount again.

youre not going to get much of a hookup at the bluewater. i think omar looked into this for our parker gathering in 2 weeks.....we're mostly all staying at the bridge inn.

im not trying to speak for everyone here...what is everyone elses opinion of the avi?

I am open as well and can edit the POST I would like to just not fork out $100 + a night and I called Blue water a few mins ago and they didnt offer much. If you had AAA it was $131 a night..ouch!

too much lake lice. $80 aint all that good either. unless it's a big weekend they have two day packages for $99 in the off season

Parker and Havasu are too much like being in the ocean! Lets go somewhere with a sand bar so people can make passes and race each other!

Well AVI has the river, the beach, etc. it might not be the best spot around but its better than Mo Choppy. I havent been too Blue Water and if everyone feels that blows as well i would like too hear more suggestions.

Well lets plan this event on another thread and I am in on it. The Girl friend still wants too go too AVI in july and i am going to head that event out but by all means I am down for this one as well. So when? What date and time? How about a official thread on it?
