You are a wealth of knowledge by what i have seen posted on this site. Seeing how im a newbie to this site and jet boats I will be looking forward to more of your insight in the future. SSOOOOO without kissing your A_ _ much more what is the proper ring gear to pinion measurement I am looking for? And if I get in a jamb I will be posting with some pics so keep your eyes peeled please

? can I shim this starter with the motor out? how do I verify the alignment?

Gurus! need your help!
on a 454 does the starter use shims for alighnment like automotive starters sometimes do mine is making some binding noise.
I just got the boat and the starter was just replaced, just checking to see if this guy was a knuckle head or am I?

I had that exact same Nordic for 5 years--20'/BBC/Dominator--and really loves it because it had room for the family and "stuff", yet performed like a smaller, lighter jet boat. I traded it to boost last summer, and traded it again a couple of months ago. There is another one in Las Vegas. Hey saw your pics of the old boat and you had the rear bench setup and engine cover that im looking for!! what do you think is it difficult to do the woodwork myself then take it in for upholstery? or just have it done? kinda working on a budget here.

Hey Guys, newbie here to the sight and jets! Picked up my first jet today for 1500 bucks runs great but have'nt got it onto the water yet it's a project but now that I found this site can't wait to pick all of your brains lots of knowledge floating around in here let me know what you think
80 nordic w/hardin 454 and dominator pump no setback or droop though
