The above info is for a ford.......chevy would be a hair differentIt'll work for olds too......
What's the best way to prime the oil pump and should I do it with the valve covers off and the oil filter full and tight?
Greg
I thought closet drinkers drank Vodka because other people can't smell it? This stinks, now I have to go buy some Vodka to try and figure it out! They also drink it cause they can put it in a water bottle and it looks like their drinkn water.
is that a 3x3 or 4x4? I had the double double meal for lunch today!
after thinkin about it....i dont think hes the nj points leader....Call me naive, i'm not quite schooled on the "points system", but how many points do you get for spinning out?
While you're thinking about transmissions in boats... someone was telling me you can add a trans to a jet boat for a better holeshot and top speed. I'm thinking if it were that easy it would be really common to see transmissions in jet boats. What's JBP .02, fact or B.S.?
Don't do it Omar. Look the other way and let me be FAREEEEEE
May I offer this as an alternative??
Or possibly this?
With my diverter, I bought the underslung reverser style, so I need to drill holes in my transom adapter to move the cable from right to left.
1) Is there a different transom adapter I can use that I wouldn't have to modify , IE 12jE or something (unsure of the number)? I am thinking maybe just buy a new transom adapter that is in great shape already ready to go to save time and money.
what do you mean "flying the boat"? and what is shock loading? (unload/reload?)
And shock loading is just that "unload/reload", the psi can be so powerfull from the reload it can blow inspection covers, crack suctions....
Josh, do you know if a bellhousing rear mount from a Berkeley would work on a Jacuzzi?
Wow Tom, the competition is stepping it up! Even if you were $100 more expensive you'd still have my business. Lucky for all of us you're still cheaper...."Cheaper" is such an ugly word, I prefer less expensive
-Colby

Of course now I'm wondering if I should have added an inducer. Do I need one? I went from a Berkeley A to an A/T A - those are the ones that are more aggressive alone, correct?
Greg ,may not want to sell it now might go after the Comp jet points with the little beast
. It's on my to do list.actually im looking forward to beating up on SOME BB jet boats...please not i said some, because i dont want everyone to get offended and talking shit
. I've got a SB Ford in mine and I wouldn't trade it for the world. We've used many Small Blocks through out the years with great success, and we have a project or two with a SB's already lined up futuristically. But there is nothing more satisfying than blowing by a BBC owner, especially when they converted over from an olds I did it a few times last summer and it almost better than sex![]()
Out of curiosity what angle should one be at??
Wife and i are having a disagreement on this and im right, She's wrong

That was the other thing I was thinking of doing, cutting a bit off of the bowl - but I figured that would be more trouble than adding a stuffer. Any thoughts either way?
I think someone has been watching or listening to too many political commercials!!!
