Well...Since the car was in my name they wouldn't hand it over to the girlfriend so I got ta' get off work and drive all the way across town to met the biggest BEOTCH this side of the Miss...She locked me out of the lot for 30mins. while she looked at the vin on the car and on the back of the Temp plate to make sure it was mine...I couldn't help it..I tried! While she was bent over about 75yards away from me, since I was locked outta the lot, lookin' at the plate I hit the remote start and started that Sonnabitch up 'bout 2ft from her face! Man was she pissed! Finally got the F'n car back outta the dusty ass getto lot for $200 and am still waiting to talk with this BS rentaCop agency...No permits or anything just an apologetic moron with a fack badge!

Haven't had time to download pics yet but will post some soon...the car came with a car alarm with a pager..I took the Duramax to work and let my girlfriend take the National to work since she has assigned covered parking...Well 15min. ago she calls crying saying the car was stolen since the pager was going off and she looked outside and the car was gone!  Now I'm freakin' pissed! >:( She calls it in stolen in the parking lot and the dumbs ass renta fuckin' cop comes up to her and says "The black car?" she says "yea the black car!" The dumb **** says "I didn't recognize it so I had it towed! WTF is that shit!!! >:( Man am I freakin' pissed...Now I'm charged 200 clams to pick the fucker up!  Let ya' know what happens but the renta cop company is gonna pick-up the tab one way or another! I can just hear the fukin' tires squeelin' as it was dragged in gear onto the fukin' flat bed!  >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

I think jets are for pole smokin homos, but this one seems like a good deal. Apaches are very nice boats. If I was in the position I'd buy it as a secondary boat.
Right said!

OK...gettin' alittle  >:(! As you all can tell...and some of you may like :DI haven't been posting at all since I have been spending 8hrs a day trying to track down a 1987GN If anyone has a line on one please let me know...If it has low enogh miles I'll go as high as $30,000...I never imagined how hard it is to find one that is one the west coast...The most interesting one is the one in Coasta Mesa but the add says that it's a Cali smog car and I think that is just a pain in the ass and costs HP...any help would be GREATLY appreciated! :)

Well I drove 3 freakin' hours to look at a National in Peoria for $28K...thinkin' it would be perfect since it was at an Acura lot and only had 28,000 miles on it..I got there at night (great way to buy a car huh?) and I noticed that some of the hardware under the hood had a little rust on it not common with AZ..After a carfax found out that it spent 17yrs in Ill. Low milage but that scares me...So I passed on it...There is another one in Costa Mesa which I have never been to but the guy at the dealer ship tells me that a car from the Cal. coast gets as much rust and salt as an eastern car from the ocean. ??? I have never heard this one before..Do any of you Californians have any insight on this?

That turbo Trans Am sounds like one hell of a fun ride. On the other hand they made a turbo Grand National also. Witch means there is parts avaliable to make that Grand National a turbo if you wanted to. I think I would have to take the TA. Whats the horsepower to weight ratio on them?
Grand Nationals are all turbos...The TTA is rated at 250 but is actually 301 on a Dyno..The National is around 275hp...I think the National is a more solid car and wouldn't tend to turn into a rattle trap like the TTA but they only made 1500 tta's and there were 25,000 Nationals produced...The TTA has a Buick motor in it and top speed is a ridiculous 178MPH 'cause of arodynamics..there is a TTA in Tucson with only 45,000 miles on it..The National has a better resale value... There is a National in Phoenix with only 25,000miles..The National has a better resale value and I plan on it being a daily driver...

I've found these two Mullett Machines and I'm gonna buy one just not sure which....
Which one would you rather have...87 Grand National or 89 TurboTa?

How big of a roost does that twin throw?

My friend's naturally aspirated jet has been clocked at 118 mph.

And to answer your subject title of "are these boats any good?", dollar for dollar, no they aren't any good. They don't throw a roost, they can't run in shallow (less than a foot) river water, they cost a mininum of $3,000 every time they go to the shop, they cost a fortune to buy, and they're difficult to work on. Other than those ugly things hanging off of the back, they're good looking boats.
I'm gonna try and keep my mouth shut on this one.....OK..I tried...where do you get this mininum of 3K every time it goes in the shop? You can rebuild the whole motor for that...But then again I guess thats the only time one is in the shop is when the motor is worn out...difficult to work on? Thats why I have one 'cause the only thing I wanna work on at the lake is my buzz...The roost and low water has already been addressed....As far as cost goes...There is that old saying...Ya' get what ya' pay for... ;)
