I understand the concept of a place diverter( 4 way nozzle movement) and its supposed to adjust for better "plaining" out the hull but I haven't seen if people use a rideplate/shoe setup WITH a place diverter...

hey fellas i might be posting in the wrong forum but i saw electrical and figured id give it a shot...now ive been around boats and the water my entire life but one thing i keep noticing is most of yalls boats dont have navigation lights. Ive seen the suction cup light and that would explain the absent lights. but i dont even see pop up or flush mounted lights. i understand the clean flush look and all..but what about the legality? Do you guys with no lights at all just go in by dusk? And why not get some really clean looking SS flush mount LED "below-deck" lights? Are those types not CG approved? Do you still have to use a "topside" bow light if the "below-deck" lights are legal? Are the laws pretty much the same for CA, AZ, and NV? Oh, are boating classes required in either of those three states? sorry that one is off topic.. just wanna get all my ducks in a row..lol thanks guys!!

Thanks guys! Im still do a ton of research and will be able to buy something turn key in decent condition in fall of 2016(I need to finish scholl in Washington) when my family moves to kingman. For now im like a sponge,  soaking up as much knowledge as possible...looks like(from all the ad's on cl and other various sites) I might be able to score a decent mini cruiser for around $7-8000...

What would be considered a good all around "hotrod"/ cruiser hull? One where a person could throw in 500hp and hairless and then when the party settles, my son could take a nap under the deck..picture a person wanting to go in the lake AND the river, do 60mph (when it's smoother chop lol) with my wife, 3 3yr old son and a beer cooler( or two ;-)) then turn around and bust out a skier.. basically an all around family friendly float that has a little, "umf!".. thanks for some input!

If you received a disability rating of 30% or more, you can have VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION (VA) help you land a career...they also may help with living expenses, education, etc...

if your not collecting disability compensation and you feel like you WANT to (anything in your medical record can be claimed...sore back, tinnitus, etc) make a claim, feel free to PM me and I can give you sone pointers...example: im at 40% disability. 30% for anxiety and 10% tinnitus(ringing of the inner ear). I collect tax free just under $600 a month..its not alot but hey, its a car payment or a place diverter lol
