I even got a 6' piece of square stock to make a longer extension to be able to drop a motor in a flat bottom, it would not reach with the extension that came with it.

I bought the HF 2 ton folding model and I have used it to pull and instal motors and even used it to flip one of my hull up side down with no issues.

I'm the one that posted the link and thought something was fishy.

It was obvious in the pics you took your time to secure the boat before towing. No way a thief does this.

If I knew it was someone here I wouldn't have posted it.

Guess this is why my post disappeared so fast.

Maybe the idiot that sold it was setting up for insurance fraud.

Looking forward to your build! Good looking boat! What hull is it?
It's a 78 Holmes-horizon with a jette bottom. Basically it's half gullwing and half tunnel is how it was described to me. What a trip that in the photos he photo shopped himself out of it. He was on the other end of the strap. Lol

So I BOUGHT this boat last week but picked it up yesterday only because I liked the bottom and after talking to a couple guys on here and was told it is a very fast bottom and turns on a dime. My plan is to drop in my BBC 505ci stoker about 700hp off the bottle the motor is set up for a 300 shot of NOS, so should be about 1000hp give or take some HP. There isn't a speed shop around here that has a dyno "wish there was". I want to set back the pump and install a shoe and adjustable cav plates. Not sure how fast it will run but sure will be fun to build. If any has any guess what it will run please share. "Lifted250 I'm sure I will get a text from you about setting back the pump and yes I'm sure you will do it or help me do it" lol.

You would think being under 3k for an almost complete boat and he seems to know as much about it as the average jet owner.... sounds like a great deal to me.
There seems to be a habit on this forum of low balling the $hit out of everyone even when it's already a good deal. Sounds like he should be asking 5k and settle on 3 then the new owner can feel as if he got a deal and the seller will get the price he wants.. what is it with this?
Then but it if you think it's a good deal. Had no carb motor probably full of water Sanger boats are dime a dozen. I don't even need it but if he is parting it out to be able make his truck payment I offered 1k if parting out. Not my fault you can't afford to pay you car payments. How about you stay out of my biz. Or we will have a shit storm. GOT IT.....
