You should be able to troubleshoot this in less than thirty seconds with a 12v rest light.
Put the test light ground clip on a known good ground. Test in on the battery post.
Put the test probe on the (+) on the distributor with the key on. Light? Move on to the next no light?, find out why, fuse, bad switch etc.
If it lights, put the probe on the (-) side of the coil, key on, light? Bump the starter, light go out? If yes, move on.
Crank the engine, it should flash while cranking. No flash, bad ground or pick up coil, flash, could be a bad coil wire.
