If I decided to go with an OT header, would i have reversion problems?
You shouldn't although if there is water feeding the exhaust at idle you might.
I set up a hand control valve at my seat and turn off the water to my exhaust when I off plane.
Some use the spring loaded T valve, if the spring goes weak like the one I used to have then it's a problem.
You can get OT for $500, probably some logs that would work for you, but not a set of good through transom headers. You'll probably notice a performance improvement with OT headers, but it will be much louder than you're used too.
