Well, I'm gonna expand here a little bit.
Yeah, everybody likes to keep their brand new Chrome $hit clean and shiney. Not gonna happen in the real world. We used to wrap a 10 gauge copper wire around our motorcycle pipes and that did, kinda, work, but its all BS.
Lets face it, and be honest, NOTHING says "HP" more than blued up headers or zoomies.
Now, as far was what GT was after in controlling engine temps with this thread, had nothing to do with headers. It's engines in general, and he's right! The flow to the headers matters not, it's the engine temps we want to maintain or increase.........
Wanna save your boat engine? increase and control the temp......simple fact.....
