How does one go about getting a sponsorship I mean do you just walk in west marine and say Hi I'm Brad im racing this hear boat I'll put your name on it for x amount of dollars or do you have to put a portfolio together of all the races you'll attend snd this is how many people will see it? How does it work I've always been curious?would think a thousand is very conservative , I bet in reality it's more than double that.

Yeah been sponsored in the past....but now boat is currently painted with a rough texture so stickers won't stick.....so I'd have to have the sponsors names/logos painted on.....there's more to it....but yeah I just like how its running only the SCJB name now. I'd love the help, just don't know where things are going with this boat currently. Its in real rough shape.not to mention how hard it is to get good people/sponsors to get behind a boat racing program now days, And even harder to keep them happy. Some people just have no idea the cost of boat racing now days its expensive. I know for us just to go to chandler or Havasu it's 1000$ weekend without entry and beer. I hope you can get some things together and get crazy eights back out racing again brad. If iam not racing I will be more than willing to help you out in the pits for sure. Also thanks again for all the help and support.

Dont do zoomies, not on an olds. Olds motors want a little back pressure. and theres the whole thing with the center cylinders .X2 on the Zoomies. Not a good idea, you'll loose hp unless it's a blown app.

I think that boat will haul ass once it's done. And look bad ass doing it!Is that all for looks. How much more weight we talkingthat boat is very thin. The balsa will help stiffen it up. The balsa itself is not heavy at all maybe 4 lbs. but it does soak up a lot of resin. I would say it would add maybe 25lbs to the whole layup of the boat.
