Hi John I have just read your entire storey and it has inspired me. I just picked up a 1976 Pioneer (pics in boat showcase) and am starting a complete renovation like you have done on a smaller scale. No major motorwork or pump work at this point but from the wheels up everything else totally redone. I am chemically stripping the hull first and then lots of paint and my artist wife has designed graphics as well. I was real interested to read about polishing paint as I have never done this and was considering having someone else do it but now I feel that i will try it Im sure that I will need to pick your brain alot this winter .I had already ordered all my paint from tcp Global before I read your story  Thanks Gord
