Went out on it once when Flytime fixed and delivered it, and then 4 times since. Love that boat! Really like to see what it'd do with some real HP in it, but they won't let me..........

  For a hundo, I'd be all over it! I don't know everything about them, but the ones I have and have had are all extremely well built sleds. 

Moo is a 78 Sleek Rebel. For a 1/4 stringer boat, very stout, takes rough stuff pretty well. She stood up to somewhere between 500-600 HP with no problems at all. She's gonna be running a lot more than that this coming year, so we'll see. Not racing hulls, the Rebel is a pretty heavy layup that IMO makes it a much better all around boat than my full stringer 75 20' Sleek (Streaker, maybe, still up in the air on what that one is really). That one will pound the hell out of ya. It'll probably be sold this spring, the little Rebel is just more flexible and useable.

Get some pics up of it when ya get it.  If it comes with the doghouse, I know a couple people looking for one and you can double your money on that alone.

You'll like that pan! My Pickle has the same one. Enough clearance for any mount system you can imagine, and still require a co-signer when it's time to change the oil, depending on what oil you're using.

Put a right angle AN fitting and short piece (12-18") of AN hose and a plug in it on the rearmost drain bung before you install the engine though.  Next to impossible to do once it's installed, but makes oil changes a snap. Lift it up so its higher than the oil level in the pan, remove the plug, add a longer piece of hose to it out the bilge plug hole and into a 5 gallon bucket, drink beer...........

Noone thought to do this when Pickle was built, so its comng at least part way out to do it this winter.

"Blowing Gaskets" is almost NEVER a good idea Glen. I stress the ALMOST. Sometimes, this one in particular, made sense and might apply.

Walking my new store, heading into Xmas, electrical dept, no Red and Green lightbulbs, almost out of tri-tap extenion cord adaptors, out of timers, remote control devices, tan extension cords, etc, etc and when I asked why I was told "corporate didn't send enough" .

THAT'S when the gasket started to blow. As I told the seasoned dept manager "You knew xmas was coming" "Yes" was his reply, "and they NEVER send you enough" "Yes", "and so if I look at your orders where and when am I going to see that you bulked up for this"........."not gonna find it" was the response. Gasket blew......."and now tell me why the fock you have been a dept manager for 6 years???"

I have EVEYONES attention now and I can be a nice guy again, lol.

Also I dont think I would go cutting any holes in the roof for a cooler on a house you dont own.  I wont even do it on mine (and I own it).  I just picked up the biggest cooler I could find http://sutherlands.com/products/product.php?item=7994130  put it on wheels, and hooked it to a garden hose.  I put it outside buy the side door and let it blow in through the door, works great.  Just dont stand in front of it, its like a Hurricane.   

My house has a huge sidedraft cooler plumbed in with the AC/Furnace ducting and a separate t-stat in the house right by the main one. I haven't been impressed wth it's performance, although it works, makes the house musty smelling. I'm just gonna reroute it so it only works in the garage this spring.

Portables are great! but a couple friends of mine put in the window mount deals last year (Actually, they didn't have windows, so they simply cut a hole in the wall) and wall mounted them.  They work outstanding! Just gotta open a garage door a smidge to have flow through.  Inside, they appear like a window mounted AC unit, and the bulk of it is outside.

Ray, I do know that at least some of them had glass originally. I remember the one my parents had when I was a kid (dont know what year it was), there where cut outs in the interior side panels where you could see the tanks. Was kinda cool because you could see through the fiberglass and tell how much fuel was in the tank.  I remember watching the fuel slosh around in there. 

 BTW, they might be great boats but as a kid I hated that boat !!!  My mom talked my dad into selling your mech injected wood deck flatbottom to get that thing (more family friendly).  I love my mom, but I will never forgive her for that. 

WOMEN!!  LOL! Well, I can't say much, because I've said many times before if Cin were still with us, Moo woulda been started up in the garage, ONCE, and probably been on Craigslist inside of 10 minutes after that event! As it is, I've had free reign on these things. 

Omar is the Lord and Saviour when it comes to hulls, and I'll never doubt his word. My experience, and I stand behind my statement, has been with pretty much stock, docile hardware. Throw 600+ HP into a 21' Bieser (or Nordic or Sanger) and I have no idea what it'll do. I know mine was a Bieser because of the tell tale drop outer chines that even the cruisers had. I CAN tell you what it'll do in an 18' and a 20' Sleek, however  , and as Proppy pointed out, we're about to find out real quick what nearly double THAT will do to a 1/4 stringer 18' Sleek    .  Could get ugly.........
Omar makes a valid point, and Proppy endorses it, that Biesers were inconsistent and made in several places. Mine in Phoenix, WAY before the drunken stupor that led to the end of that companywhen it was in Globe.  A '78, you're safe, made in PHX, Heavy layup, good to go.

I'm in a deal, personally, that I'm not even gonna try and explain here, you guys are brutal, and why I love you all! But I'd love to have that sloth old Bieser back! I think it'd be proper to break Carol in on that, then throw her in Nick or Marcs boat to see just how bad it COULD be! I'd be in a much better position to be able to sell whats under construction here a little easier,     

In my personal opinion, and many on the site were in or borrowed that boat, it came up on plane inside of 30 MPH, and left me no reason to beleive it was NOT capable of 70+ pretty handily and still maintain it's nimble handling. Woulda taken a LOT more than 600 hp to get to 70, but I doubt the handling woulda have changed though.....

Most, if not all of you, know me and my history, apprehension and anxiety about Thanksgiving.

That being said, my parents, my family, HER family, have seen fit the last two years to fly out invade my home this time of year. Been 2 weeks of Hell! I got promoted, many good things happened, but this overshadows all that.

They're all FINALLY gone..........as of an hour ago I was smiling and waving good bye........But here's the synopsis.

All agree and want the twin jet boat DONE. All want 1 stock motor in it (Ain't gonna happen, but I entertained them......) So my dad, whom last year refused to even go to the lake with me when we set up a T-giving lake run after he heard Moo fired up in the cul-de-sac, said, "as long as there aint seventeen carbeureters on there or blowers, I doubt that big ass thing can scare us too much................"

SO! And me being me........well........they ALL want to ride in the big cabin cruiser........i aint telling 'em nuttin, but being challenged to scare them all from ever coming to Arizona to be with me again.........

I'm back to the planning and engineering board again................
