I offered 1800 bare hull and was told he didn't need to sell it so I'm guessing for complete 460 minus carb so almost complete will set you back close to 1500. Lol.

Pics of Sanger.
It was sanded on back and a portion or drivers side to make smooth for vinyl wrap. There was no damage.

The No Wake Zone / WTB bare hull
« on: August 27, 2015, 06:33:31 AM »
I am looking for a bare jet hull. Not sure what make. Here are a couple things I want the hull to be. 1. 18-19ft. 2. Light to medium layup so I want a hull under 500 pounds. 3. The boat does not have to have seats, gauges, tanks or even carpet. 4.  The hull has to be a full stringer. 5. Has to float. 6. Not expensive. If anyone has one for sale or wants to trade for a 69 Sanger flat bottom PM me or text me pics 661-979-9442.

The No Wake Zone / Looking for my old boat
« on: August 25, 2015, 10:26:56 PM »
I had a 75 Rogers 18' that I had to sell due to moving and had no other choice. If someone on here bought it from jet boat performance or knows who bought it please let me know. I want to buy it back. This boat was my first jet and was in my family for a long time and has lots of history behind it.

Those have been around for years. I remember when I was a teen my parents used them on there Baja 38 special in copper canyon so that was over 15 years ago. They do work great.

Just got my hands on a 1998 454 going to switch it over to carbureted not sure of the intake and what the best cam is

What's your plans for the motor? Bore, stroke, heads, pistons, dual carb or single. There is a lot to take into consideration when choosing a cam. For starters you need to know what RPM's you want to run? What's done to your pump? You get the point. More info would help us help you.

The No Wake Zone / How many V-Drives are on here??
« on: August 11, 2015, 03:49:26 PM »
So I have been talking to Jimpen about letting the vdrives play with there top ten list, however they already have a list so we basically need to start a v drive list and then set up to race our fastest against there's and so on and so on. How many vdrives are down to do this. Let me know so we can figure out how to put it together.

Maybe there can be a top ten deal for vdrives and then figure out a way to mix them in to the fastest of the fastest

812 hp. 780 ft lbs. That's a huge lift on the cam for only 5900 RPM's.

Did anyone come up with a plan to let the V-drives play? I know there was some talk awhile back but I didn't of anything set in stone.

So I am picking this boat up one day this week, not sure on the make due to its a custom build boat with no hull iD number or tag so I can name it whatever I want. It was set up for a BBF but I'm not a ford guy so I was thinking turning it into a K style boat and building a blown injected BBC. I like the hull lines looks clean. What do you guys think??

That sounds like a cool deal if you can get s couple people to go in on it. Jim and I talked about it but we would spend twice as much on the set up them we use in nos for a year. And would be cool to sell it but I live in a sketchy area and if everyone knew what I had in my shop I would get broke into for sure.

"RTCP"

Ya I don't live in a bad part of town. I have a cop that lives on one side, a HA on the other and I own a house full of guns. Lol. I feel bad for anyone that breaks in. I charge the the little import guys 6 bucks a pound so to fill a 10 pound bottle is 60 bucks cash. I do that three times I paid for the N2O I can fill 9 10 pound tanks, do the math.

I have a fill station in my garage. I got my set up from jegs, I get my NOS 99.99 pure from local weld shop they call it N2O plus. I rent the 90 pound tanks for 10 bucks and get them filled. I get a bunch of local street racers that want there tanks filled. I make good money doing it. The whole fill station from jegs I think I paid $1200 comes with everything even the digital scale.

« on: August 06, 2015, 08:57:15 PM »
So I just picked up a 17 foot 1966 Mandella vdrive short deck. It's set for a SBC which is fine I want to keep it retro. Has anyone on here ever ridden or owned one?  ( don't tell me this is a jet boat site, well no shit I'm a jet boat owner too) I want to know how they ride, handle all that good stuff. I bought it because I thought it would be cool to do a old school boat like that.
