Boats For Sale / Re: Wanted 21' Daycruiser closed bow.

Don't know anything about them either, but that SKV seems like a very nice, time period correct boat.  Seems like they did a very nice job restoring it.   Doesn't seem like a bad price for such a clean boat with fresh power.

You are really wasting no time on this baby Brad!  Glad to see you wanting to replace the carpets while you're at this point.  Can't wait to see how it turns out.  Even more excited for the wet test and hear what you have to say about it.

Out of curiosity, what is the overall length and the beam of this hull?  I really like them a lot, but they seem pretty narrow and not quite 21'...  Got measurements?

Thought this was going to be Brian's boat before I clicked on it.  Looks like there's a little competition for the Eliminator Bubble Deck's out there this week.  Good luck with the sales, boys!

Sounds like you had a productive nap under the boat.  There's always another way to git 'er dun.  Thank goodness for two part epoxy and duct tape.  What would a handyman do without them?

Is the O in WTFO for "over"??  Where the heck did that come from?  I've heard a bunch of different guys on the jobsites saying it and nobody can tell me where it came from.  A movie or something?  It's kind of growing on me...

I like those Bahner cruisers a LOT!  Now if i could just find one for that price or no more than $6K turnkey, then I would be in business...

that's a drag.  Do you have one of these?  They work like a charm.  I know it's a very small part of your worries, but if you don't have one yet, they're very handy to have around the garage...

Sweet score Brad!  How come I can't find one in that condition for that price??  I'm a little jealous honestly.  Where did you find it through?  Did you wet test it, or no?

That's freeking rad though.  Way to be on finding an exact match!

Ouch, bro!  I think your finger might fall off when the tip of it doesn't get blood flow anymore.  LoL... Just kidding.  Was it on your primary hand or the one you don't use so much?

Thought I was going to have to get stitches yesterday.  Shot myself with a 16 penny from the nail gun.  A half hour into my day, nailing a double top-plate down...  The nail ricocheted off the head of the nail below it and went straight into my left ring finger.  My hand retracted immediately and I shook it off like a bee sting, then noticed blood was splattering everywhere.  Couldn't tell if I needed stitches or not until I got the bleeding to stop.  Realized it was just a puncture wound and today you can hardly even tell it's there at all.  I sure can though, sensitive as all hell.

Wow, you weren't kidding... That thing is FUGLY!  That IMP is bigger than ours and don't know if it would fit on the trailer.  Our trailer is definitely fuglier though...  Wish I had a pic of it.

The No Wake Zone / Re: MEXICAN LION
« on: April 02, 2009, 05:34:56 PM »
Mexican dogs should almost have their own breed, they're always very distinctive.  Even when you see one in the states.  It's like, "Hey, that's a Mexico dog."  and sure enough, the owner rescued them from Ensenada or San Felipe or something.

I do.  It's my favorite so far, but it's just a little bit out of my price range.  Has a new 502 BBC, 530hp on the dyno, berk pump, place diverter, new interior (obviously), new gauges.  The guy said he needs the room for other toys and isn't very willing to negotiate on the price... Said he advertised it last year at $13 something  :screwy:.  He was firm on his $7,500 asking price.  Wish I could get him to come down at least $1500, more like $2k.  The hunt continues....    :-\

That is FREEKING HILARIOUS!!!   :D :D :D  Where do you guys find some of this shyt?  They needed to give him more bangs, like on top of his head so it really would look more like a lion.  I wonder what kind of dog that ACTUALLY is.

I could be wrong, but... On buggies, isn't the front track width supposed to be a little wider than the rear?

Makes sense to me so the tires don't both go in the same exact rut in the sand...

That's how it was on the R/C cars I used to race anyways... Maybe the real thing is different.   ???

I live in Nor Cal but am moving to the OC... Had my Uncle go check it out and click some picks for me.  It was on Craigslist a while back, last I saw it posted was in the middle of Feb and advertised at $2500...  Talking to him he said he'd settle for $2K...  But if it's still available he may take less by now.

Had gone through a divorce and says, "The boat brings back bad memories of my wife and kids."

Speaking of that Rogers, Brad... You could probably pick that one up for less than $2K by now, if it's still available...  I still have the guy's number and a butt-load of pictures if you're interested.  Needed some lovin but it ran good and the interior was decent...
