So today started out great...untill...I got a bloody nose but that was short lived...then at the end of my day...I cut my finger...it was a bleedin like a stuck pig...son of a biatch...I start thinkin I should get stitches....so this happened at the end of the work day and I was like I'm good...so I call ashley and tell her get me some super glue and a butterfly I'm on my way to your house...so I get there and she is all nope...dude you need stitches....fock here we go again...so she takes me to the hospital and when I got there I wasn't bleeding anymore....anyway the doc starts messing with it and then it turns into a gusher! That's when they realized that I serverd the artery in my right ring finger...so now they are getting ready to transport me to another hospital and then they got the bleeding to stop...and stitched it up and now I'm good just in pain....fock!

Ouch, bro!  I think your finger might fall off when the tip of it doesn't get blood flow anymore.  LoL... Just kidding.  Was it on your primary hand or the one you don't use so much?

Thought I was going to have to get stitches yesterday.  Shot myself with a 16 penny from the nail gun.  A half hour into my day, nailing a double top-plate down...  The nail ricocheted off the head of the nail below it and went straight into my left ring finger.  My hand retracted immediately and I shook it off like a bee sting, then noticed blood was splattering everywhere.  Couldn't tell if I needed stitches or not until I got the bleeding to stop.  Realized it was just a puncture wound and today you can hardly even tell it's there at all.  I sure can though, sensitive as all hell.

feel your pain there Nordie. not as bad as you but this is what i did.
did this yesterday at work... was helping to pull in 4-600 awg wire for the main distribution and got the rope wrapped around my hand just as the other guys pulled... luckily i was able to twist my hand out as they pulled. but wasn`t quick enough to avoid the damage... got home and thumb area was swollen and red... woke up this morning and was twice the size and couldn`t make afist without pain... fingers were a little numb and thought shit.... broke it. took a nice warm shower and swelling went down little. decided to have it checked out... long story short just really really bruised and sore. good to have the drugs. lol.
but glad to hear you are going to be ok... and look at it this way.... pain means you are still alive.
