I really wanted to take my boat apart and start building it up but I will be waiting untill after this event.
Last year was a blast... but I was super bummed that I couldn't go out and lay down some passes with that POS turbo motor!
Looking forward to seeing everyone again and shooting the shit with everyone AGAIN!!!

« on: October 22, 2009, 07:32:46 PM »LOL! Was an accident, and actually, one of the final selling points to me on the thing. Worked on the guy for what? 3 weeks or so? I have a complete Chebbie blower setup (Among others), and pistons for it, so watch for it this spring! (this Green Monster, as it seems to be known now, is gonna take on some personality, as the Moo has).
I now have 2 Ferds and 2 Chebbies, in varying process, should, could, get interesting.
Wonderful how a plan falls together! Still not a chop loving boat, takes rough better than Moo, but takes steering to do it and with the current cables, impossible.

My first boat: 1973 Miller. 455olds w/jacuzzi wj (miss this one)
Second boat: 1976 Eliminator Bubbledeck. 496bbc twin turbo/ berkley jc/jg pump (miss the power)
Third boat (3rd times a charm): 1987 TX19 Condor. 454bbc w/dominator pump (this ones a keeper!)
My old baby: 1968 Camaro. 327/450+hp @ 7200rpm. M-21 close ratio 4-speed I spent to many nights in jail street racing this thing! Sold this car and got into boats! Best move I ever made!
Used to barry the speedo past 160mph and it had the suspension to handle it!
Last but not least: 2002 CRF 450R

I was just at parker last weekend. Awsome weather great water!
Water was warm too!
Buffet at the casino sucked but that steakhouse was gooood!
Stayed in echo lodge.
Boat was running real hard untill one of the primary tubes cracked around the flange. So for 12hrs of driving I only boated for 15 minutes. Not a great weekend but not a bad one either.
Header is now welded up. If you guys are rolling to BV please let me know!

I lost my perscription sunglasses while making a hard pass in my old boat.
I lost my smoking utinsil, lighter, and a bag of trees. All of it slid right off the deck when a wakeboard boat came cruising by. Thanks wakeboarder....now I must roost you!
Also lost my scoop. Took it off at the house to do some tuning. Set it back on and off to the lake I went. I looked in my mirror just at the right time to see it flying in the air!
