WTB / Re: Ok not boat stuff but i need a motor home fridge
« on: February 07, 2013, 09:28:39 PM »
What's wrong with it?.

If it just won't get cold it is probably wax bound.

If you pull it out, turn it upside down for a day, preferably in the sun, flip it right for a day, one more day upside down, put it back in and fire it off. Betting a"cold one" it will work perfect..

This is a very common problem if it had not been used for a while.

unless its a newer one with a computer board

Camping World is going to be hard to beat for pricing on a new one.  Take them the model and serial number from your dead one and they'll fix you up.

Be careful with any used fridge you find, both Dometic and Norcold had several recalls on their units.  You should be able to search the model number for anything you find and get more information or just call the manufacturer.

Good luck.

and either join or find someone who is a member of thier Presidents club, the added discount will be more than worth it on a fridge

I wouldn't mind it for a backup but the freight would be killer. If you still have it next summer I might be interested  at the right price

Action backed marine grade solution died carpet and Chapco trowel on glue with 3/16" notch.

Contact adhesive is very unforgiving and messy in my opinion.

Farmergord,
Are you talking about the type that comes out of a can or spray gun? I tried the can type and it didn't work that well for me.

Horizonjet
I used the home depot type with great results and with their outdoor carpet. I make sure to prep the surface as instructed. I've had inches of rain water in the hull and it not separate.

spray gun with a  large tip'

I don't know what make it was .Don't  think it had any tags on it,3.5 horse briggs and Scrapiron centrifigal clutch . it was a lot of fun,my mom made me wear a helmet and thats all they could come up with, an old football helmet no chinstrap and the front guard ripped off. those were the days
