I too am very sorry to hear of the loss. It does seem, and I'm not saying anything relating to their incident that some people go looking for trouble.
We were cruising about 45MPH down the lake when 3 lake lice came along side on our left slowly passing. Just and I mean just after getting by they cut across our bow! They were hardly 25 yards ahead when they did it.
I pulled up and gave them the finger as did my wife and the idiots tried spraying us.
Bad move, that was like bring a knife to a gun fight.
I probably should have just let them go to die another day but you know how that goes

We gave them the nozzle "full up" after going by around 62mph. I didn't give it to them in the face. I just put it close enough that they knew we could have.
Maybe they won't try spraying people again.
They turned around and left. I hope with a lesson learned.
1. Don't cut boats off
2. Don't try to spray people in a jet boat with a friken wave runner
This is a picture of my son's boat, it's identical to mine but about 150HP short till next season.
I don't think I would want to ride into that water blast
