That is a great story GT.  Shows that person had good character, morales and practiced integrity.  Also says a lot about yourself.  I find a lot of respect for two people I don't know out of that story.  Thanks for sharing.

I've always thought it was ironic that a man's most valuable possessions are kept in the least secured area of their home.  There's some crazy cheap surveillance systems out there these days Brad.  I remember seeing one at Costco over the holidays that included four cameras, a dvr and an in-dash LCD unit to monitor while you're on the road even, somewhere around $400-$500.  Now that's being paranoid.  I wouldn't blame you at all though.  Don't know what kind of neighborhood you really live in, HOA's, etc... but there's some pretty nice looking, industrial strength roll-up doors now days too.

Speaking of vigilante movies... How's about "Boondock Saints"  ??

Very well put, Brad.  I am a complete outsider on this conversation and as that, can completely agree with not buying the "lost my phone" bs...  Sounds like a cowardly cop out to me.  His complete absence from this website is a total admittance of guilt.  If he wanted to make right, it would have been a piece of cake to make the contacts via this message board and get the person's belongings back to them.  Funny how all of the sudden when I PM the guy about if his boat is still available or not, he suddenly reappears.  Not to mention PM'ing me back several times about whether or not I am interested in his boat or not.  I am staying far away from "Lady Luck" as she is obviously quite the opposite.  I do not need a boat with that kind of history when I'm looking forward to being a part of this group over the summer.  Only looking forward to good times and need no animosities about the boat I show up with.  Cheers!

My first thought was an '18...  Then I started thinking that I'd rather not have to worry too much about choppy water and not enough storage for a comfortable day trip with 2-3 passengers.  So most likely a mini day cruiser will be what I buy.  You never know though.  I've got time and patience.  Not going to jump on something unless it really tickles my fancy.

Bro, I don't care if you name drop or not.  I think it rocks that you have first hand information about him and liking his job.  I dig the show, envy him every time I see it, and always get the vibe that he is having a great time doing it.  Between him and Chris Fischer on "Offshore Adventures"... I don't know who has it better or which job I'd rather have...
