I'm in the process of  digitizing 50 years of slides and in doing it I came across pics of my first truck. A 1966 ford pickup that I got when I turned 15. My dad ad I did a full restoration .rebuilt the straight 6,did all new bodywork and paint and interior, dig the shag carpet and the 8 track player. Man that was so long ago and I wish I still had the truck.Let's see your first rides

Glasscutter, you must referring to the warlock/plesh/macsrollin shit show.

thats another thing.....as we move into the mobile age, not many people visit the site anymore from a computer. Theres several people on here who only use tapatalk to view the site and have never seen the home page or some of the other features I've spent a lot of time incorporating into the site that arent seen with the tapatalk app.

now I know I'm old .I never use anything but a computer to look at the site.

I have no problems with unleashed dogs as long as they stay off the bow of my boat.  I had this happen to me five years ago at New Melones.
I just got the boat back from repairs and new gelcoat.  Thank goodness Jeff Glow covered the boat with lots of clear coat.  50 plus hours of buffing.
Needless to say, I have no qualms about telling an irresponsible dog owner to put their dog on a leash.  If not, I leave the area, avoiding any further conflict.
People, supervise your dogs and kids.
Looking forward to seeing all my boating buds.
I'm Hallett Dave and I approve this message.

What the hell is this thing on the clean out?

Fat fingered from the phone- Corey

its a hold down for the missing wrench that keeps the cover nuts from backing out and sinking your boat . If you need one I have a spare

The No Wake Zone / Re: new ads
« on: December 28, 2012, 10:43:00 PM »
Ok, heres the story on the ads.

Like what 74hondo said, I have zero control over them. They are automatically generated by google adsense to market each person visiting the site based on their browsing habits, location, and page content.

That being said, if someone posts a thread asking whats the best boat insurance company, it will most likely display insurance ads for progressive or gieco or something of that sort. If you are constantly browsing dating sites, it will display russian mail order bride dating sites (**cough**ray**cough**)....and sometimes you will see ads for local businesses. I often see ads of a local water jetting company here in vegas.

I have ZERO ability to see what ads you guys are seeing. The information google indexes on you is fully classified.

The ads on this site are safe and not misleading (dont have a ton of pop ups or spyware) and I encourage you guys to check them out if they interest you as the profit from those ads keep this place running.

If you guys ever find any of the ads to be misleading or offensive, please let me know so I can report/block them from being displayed.

not offended at all and just to set the record straight . not looking for a Russian bride or surfing dating sites. Happy New Year Brad
