Well It would really run at all with the carb that came on the boat so we put another carb and it ran a 100 times better! It will one run for one pass but once you shut it of it won't fire back up?? And I'm gettin the carb rebuilt this week I'm hoping this is the problem... And it's got a brand new dizzy I just put in it last week and it has nine pounds of fuel pressure so it's gettin fuel.

Hey just had a question for you guys... Is a Holley 760 a big enough carb for my pretty much stock 454???

Well it okay but ran pretty good..... Then I shut it off and it wouldn't fire after messing with it for 30 mins I have up and jumped on the bow and started rowing lol rowed for like an hour have my fiancé hit the key every 10-15 mins hoping it would light lol on her last try it showed a little life then I ran back an got it fired and hauled ass back to the dock lol I think it's running to rich....

there are many guys that will highly advise u do not grind your diverter then ghere are many guys that say if your careful and do it properly there no problems if u must remove the nozzle grind slowly and carefully do not get into the o ring u can only get a degree or 2 out of grinding your diverter if your just wanting more roost look into a wedge there cheap and no grinding but if u must do your research there quite a few post on here bout it search for it look at pics and get good idea before the grinder comes out good luck keep us posted on your decision couple pics from the research I done on the topic I decided to wait on a wedge and not grind on my new pump

Well thank you I have been around boats and motorcycles my whole life lol I built a couple Toyota rockcrawlers too but I had always have had a love and passion for jet boats lol and lake oroville is huge!! The dam is one of the largest man made damns in the world lol but it's a beautiful lake... It's packed a lot though it would be awesome to have a meet there huge parking you can go from oroville to paradise (another town) on the lake it's probaly 10 to 20miles I think lol

I was wonder if grinding the place diverter nozzle top and bottom will make my angle higher?? I have a 12jc-a pump and I was also wonder if that's a good pump or not??
