hey im the new guy

hey everybody just wanted to say whats up!! im new to the whole jet boat secne. im 20 years old ive wanted a boat since i was a little tike lol but if you guys have any pointers or anything let me know. o yea i picked up my 76 eliminator 2 weeks ago whooooooo!!!!!

Mine went right in lol I just had to order different push rods of course but I had the roller lifters also...

Thank you Dave!! I paid 55 dollars to have my pushrods here on Friday and they didn't show!!! So my plan go this weekend were ruined but I hope they show tomorrow so I can go out on the forth!! And I love this area to its great been here my whole life!!

I hope it works out for you.  I think there maybe a gathering at Knights Landing over the 4th.

Knights Landing is north of Sacramento on the Sac river.  I have launched out of Verona Landing and cruised up river.  It is a pretty nice cruise and there are some nice sandy beaches.  If launching out of Verona while heading north make sure you stay left at the convergence of the Feather and Sac rivers.  Check out Google Earth.  I think there are some guys in Chico that run the Sac up above Hamilton City bridge on Hwy 32.  I have some friends in Chico that boat out of Paradise near the Hwy 70 bridge. I wish I weren't so far a way.   Check it out and get back to me.

Welcome! Sounds like you are already handy with a wrench so most of the problems you'll encounter will probably be a piece of cake! Jet boats are pretty simple as mechanical devises go, if you can rebuild your engine everything else is simple in comparison.

Tell us about Lake Oroville if you would.

Well thank you I have been around boats and motorcycles my whole life lol I built a couple Toyota rockcrawlers too but I had always have had a love and passion for jet boats lol and lake oroville is huge!! The dam is one of the largest man made damns in the world lol but it's a beautiful lake... It's packed a lot though it would be awesome to have a meet there huge parking you can go from oroville to paradise (another town) on the lake it's probaly 10 to 20miles I think lol
