Should be NO water at idle. I think the consensus is to have it start coming on at 1800 or so. Only steam. No spray or droplets.

Just FYI, an MSD can be triggered by points. You wouldn't be running any power through the points, just triggering the box.Thanks for the tip. Hadn't thought about that..
Pertronix makes a conversion kit for the Accel distributors. See page 16 of their ignition catalog.Mines a model 30103. Not listed. I even called them and they said no, they don't make anything for it.

It follows the same plane as the inside of the gunnel. So yeah it lays back a little. One of the hardest parts was making that sort of compound curve. Its absolutely not a straight piece when laid out flat.
