So the motor is in and he's been flying at this thing trying to make the big Labor Day bash up here.  With a little luck, he may make it.

He's fabbed everything up and now has busted it back down to take some parts to the powder coater. 

No worries Tommy.  We were just trying to build this mostly out of my spare parts.  He'll just have to spring for an electric.  Take care of yourself and say hi to the gang for us...

I can't think of any words that describe how impressed I am with your abilities.  You my friend are a stud!!!   Looks killer.


On a side note, every time out I learn to love and HATE that pulley back there.  It's made my boat a nobody is allowed to ride in the back boat cuz of the belt screaming in thier ear and the dangers if somebody was to get into it.

As it was, I was making a short jog with my son and didnt bother to snap my legstraps on my Lifeline and the stinking wind blew them back to where one was within a inch of getting caught in the belt.  Thank God my son is sharp and jerked it away. 

Didn't want to threadjack TJ but just want you to be careful and learn by my close calls so you don't have any.

   Yah, that will prolly be something I pick up over the winter.  Still getting use to it at the moment.

Here's a cool shot somebody took when I was taking Brian for a ride on the Columbia River.  He just blew up his blown 468 and is in need of a new motor.  Thought I'd give him a ride in mine so he can see what mine is like.  I stepped on it from a 2500 cruise and it hauls ass.  Great fun but too many rollers and bumps there to stay in it.  I did see a 3 lbs of boost at 5500.  Will probably need to swap some pulleys real soon once I get use to it.

i have been thinking of doing the energizer kit for years. i just keep hearing mixed things about it. i was all ready to send mine in but then i backed out at the last moment. maybe this winter i will actually do it

Hey TJ, Thats a AA Stainless from our friends at JetBoatPerformance.  Barry set the motor up so that it would cruise in the mid 5Ks and when I leaned on it it would spin to a range of 6200 following the charts that Tommy has.   I'm running the blower WAY underdriven with a 61 on top and a 54 on the bottom.  I may fiddle with them some day but for the time being, this is way faster than I need and I havent taken it much over 5 grand.  Too fat and old......

Hell, with luck maybe we can come south with this pig and hang out on your turf and work on our tan..........

In the meantime,  another project is in the works.........
