Thanks guys. Unfortunately we just ran into snow by Weed. Gonna try to get off this hill and call it quits at Yreka. Not as far as we hoped for.

Pulled in last night after dropping off a bench seat for Skip in Salem and then some parts for Brittney from Tommy.  Kevin/Keith (can't remember what his name is) just left with the seats Tommy.  Very happy with the seats.

Ian's already touched a few spots with some compound and the colors are BADASS!!!!

Haha, This is actually Ian posting on the old mans account since i have yet to make my own. The gel definatly is coming back. I have about 3 or 4 hours on the deck so far. Still gotta use some real polish. thats a heavy cut, final cut, and cleaner. It really does look way better though! It was nice to meet you the other day! Hopefully we can take the boats down south to go boating in the river with all you guys!

I am sorry I missed you guys on the way up, I will make it a point if I make it up that way to get in touch with you. Check this out, this why I could not get in touch with you, it was crazy....Like being in a third world country for a day...

Brad, get this punk kid off my account.  Hard to say what insulting things he's liable to say and tarnish my impecable reputation!!! ;D

I'll admit, he's making that boat really shine.  I can only imagine what it looked like when you first saw it Glen. The colors are incredible.  The driveway was like grand central station yesterday with all sorts of friends topping by and checking the boat out and everyone (even ones that dont know what a jetboat is) loved it.

He still needs to freshen up my old 468 that served as my mule motor for the Brendela and then he'll be on the water soon......

Okay, last time I'm gonna post up a pic on this thread.  He can start his own but Glenn and Tommy, you can't believe what he's managed to do with this old girl.

He went back at it yesterday and color sanded it throughout with 2000 grit, and then buffed it out again with a number of different products and the thing looks like a million bucks.

Founds some more cool stuff yesterday too.  The bottom of the trailer has signed "UFO II" on it as well.  And all the wire is braided together and follows the angles with pefect 90 degree bends.

Somebody spent a ton of time on this thing back in the day......... Thanks again guys and we'll do you proud I promise.

He's just about done with he truck and once done we're gonna roll that out and put the Sanger in the shop with my boat so it can enjoy some heat instead of setting in the cold ass RV port.

Motor is almost together.  We're dipping into my stash of spare parts and have a nice balanced 468", Hyd flat, 049's with big SS valves.  Shooting for the end of July to have a motor in the boat and running.

Jealous!

No need.  It's a bunch of parts that I've just had sitting here.  He had a local go fast shop flail at the heads and they turned out really cool.    There's not one of us that wouldnt love to help out a youngen to get them hooked on this hobby and there's not much more in life I like better than hanging out with my son in the shop.....

Given that, I'm thrilled............ ;D

Thanks guys.  I won't lied, this boat of his turns my crank.  It's got some history and gobs of style.  I can't wait to see it on the water..

Thanks again for all the advice and friendship when I was putting my boat together and I look forward to him receiving some great advice as he builds his as well.

Take care..........john
