Sorry, John, yeah I do tow fast, but here in AZ, we can tow 75 MPH legally if that's the speed limit! I find it hard to beleive the tires won't take that and  lil more or less? I guess I'm lucky all my boats have newer tires on their trailers, but they should all be C rated or better no?

I agree, romper stomper, they look BAD!! They look so pretty otherwise, (Since Nordie and RJ polished them) so I'm really hoping my bud can get them done right! I guess we'll see! Whomever welded them before, I don't beleive they took them off the boat to do it. Either way, I think I'm lookin at some real ugly supports for them to make it last. Last thing this boat needs.

Got the dry zoomies here JIC.........

I REALLY wanna post the pic of Nordie goin full bore, 90 degrees through another's roost, but there's nudity and bad things in that pic,  >:D  Gonna work on that......

I don't think MilkMoneys' bud (Scott? Nordie's passenger at the time) found that nearly as funny as the rest of us did.........Nordie, that was classic! lol!

Mighta solved it on my own. Kinda hard to see in these pics, but they are definately cracked at the welds where the flanges meet the pipes.........Appear to have been welded beforre kinda huh?

Now on braces after I get these puppies welded......design my own I suppose?

Ray

Edit, pulled them off, they're pretty bad! Called in a favour to have these welded for the time being, hopefully that works for awhile. Anyone got any REALLY good ones laying around? Otherwise, a couple more O/B dumps and zoomies are goin on the focker!

Yeah, it's strapped down. Just struck me as odd, I leaned on 'em pretty hard and expected to snap one off, but no go. In the mirror they looked like I'd be dragging one down the street by its AN fitting tho. Roads were not rough at all, really, and only at 80mph max did I see it, but did see it at 65 as well.

Weird fo sho! to my eyes!

Hey, you're the only guy I know also running O/T pipes identical to mine.

On the trip home today, as I watched the boat in the mirror, one, or the other, seemed to not be the same one at any given time, was shakin around like it was loose or the weld cracked. Was never both, kept switching between which one was doing it, depending on when I looked back. Everytime I stopped I wiggled them and they were tight, but they do still seem to flex alot at the first bend "up"...not a visible crack anywhere, no wiggeling at the welds, no peeling chrome is this normal for those things? or is there a crack under the chrome possibly?

Sorry if this is retarded, just never seen it before......Or trailered it that far or that fast!

Last of 'em. Just a couple of the Last of the Mohicans that ran Sunday! Great to see the Pirate Ship back in action! Ran pretty good and healthy considering very little time to fine tune it!

Can't say the same for Pickle, though. I'll get those dirt or fuel starvation problems figured out! Still ran OK considering...

Just got home an hour ago, just over 5 hours! All went smooth. Hadda start uploading pics immediately or Nordie had some harsh, nasty words for me!

Sorry you guys had problems! I worried a little after getting halfway up there I remembered I didn't throw the trailer spare in! All worked out ok though....

I'd like to go out there one day and snap some of my own pictures .
It probably has a bitchin story behind it.

-beerjet-

X2!!!

Reminds me of a bud of mine, I met well after the burning and sinking of MY Beisemeyer. Learned a few months ago that he too sank a Beisemeyer in the same lake! Was years ago, and the boat was less than a few months old at the time. Basically swamped by other ignorant boaters, as I understand it, and him being inexperienced, well.....sounds all too familiar to me! (We call it Beisey Lake now)

He has this Sonar dealio now and has been mapping the lake bottom lately to see if he can find it again! I guess they couldn't back then. He has found what's left of mine, though!

That Flat Bottom might well have an even more interesting story to tell! Still would be cool as hell to bring it back to life! Why I was so adamant about it. Still am, really!

I think it's on the complete other side of the lake from where we'll be this weekend, Omar. I'd like to see it as well! Would really like to see someone recover it and build sumpin, lol. Loaned out a tow boat once on it, looks like it might take some of us to just go and DO it, lol. Dunno if it's under water now or not tho.

If wired like it should be and you place it on Both you are putting out 24v to everything. That is what I was told by Perko when I was trying to figure out a very incorrectly wired switch

I think I remember that switch......... :banghead:

Ray

Is it possibly the knob on the switch is installed wrong? Pointing the wrong way? I'd check, but no Scuba gear and it's dark..... :screwy:
