racing on ass fault
is for pussy's

I agree, Kinda, but look at the facts of this incident. Edwards hasn't been the extreme shining star he was supposed to be. Jimmie Johnson has that honor, like it or not, for this generation of drivers. Frustration is the natural result, and temper is the natural result from that. It is what it is. You don't see Earnhardt JR out there wrecking people because he ain't as good as the old man do ya? These guys, like Kobe, Tiger, Manning, et al, need to be above all that. Carl Edwards just signed his own death warrant with Nascar and many of his fans. He's like the 7th overall money earner among drivers and the poster child for Jack Rausch and Rausch Racing. THAT will probably end, this season, over this. He's gonna be racing sprint cars again for 1/1000th the money.

Given what it is, it adds to Nascar, to some degree, but I'm sorry. The rear view video of Edwards CLEARLY, and intentionally, turning right into Keselowski (Prick or not, he is another driver with another car out there) is grounds for at LEAST a 3 race suspension! I like the guy, but sorry, I'd ban him from the track for life, and let Nascar deal with the rest of the season............He coulda killed someone over his own silly frustrations....... Just my opinion, which is like a-holes......Personally, I'm dissapointed, I thought Edwards was above that.

Thanks guys. I'm now searching for some baffles to run in them when we go to those spots where we can't let it howl.

Proppy, I agree. That project would look SICK with them on there.

Gimme a sec....had a link to a guy on Ebay selling some individuals for each tube.

Here it is...Kinda pricey IMO, $200 for a set, but a few emails may solve that! I was thinking of a set for mine as well, how I found it.

Frank,

You, and your son, have truly, and I mean TRULY, turned this into a passion, and I 'm VERY happy to see you do so in such a way that is selfless, and inspiring. You are, truly, the model of what we are (supposed to be) all about.

ANYTHING I can do, or have, to help you guys, it's yours! I know Bebo's going to need parts sooner or later, and I think I can count on nearly all of us to supply. I've bought parts from you, but dammit, this is impressive to me! I've donated parts to far less worthy causes on here, trust me! Many times! But I think nothing would please most of us more than to meet Bebo at one of the gatherings!

ebay.......

it opens up a whole new world for people missing out on this beautiful boat..

this IS my boat, i just have not won the lotto yet to pay for it ;D

Good luck bro......

You Ain't Lyin' Steve! I've been working in my il brain how to make my Pickle, (The most original 70's boat I had ever seen until I saw THIS boat at Elsinore), look as good and clean as that thing does!

Anyone can make things look "good" on Ebay or Craigs, but THIS boat, in person, is something special to behold........Kinda hard to relay or convey that.

It's too bad there's not a Barrett-Jackson for this sort of thing. It'd be a showcase boat without doubt! Just wish I could afford it!

I have a feelin' Diaper dootie is mostly a MRS JBP chore! I beleive spoiling and catering to the grandkids is where Tom shines!  ;D

I also beleive that in the very near future, in all shipments from JBP, all labels will be written in Crayola, complete with backwards "S"s and "E"s and we're all gonna be damn proud of those lil tykes..........Just wait til they're building your jet pump!

Congratulations again! I'm not sure I'm ready for all that, but am SURE looking forward to getting even with my own kids!

Ray

Tracy, Personally, had my 21' Beisemeyer not burned and sunk, I was going to convert it to hand throttle from the foot throttle. Was, to me anyway, a PITA to keep the foot pressure on it to go a whopping 45 MPH. At that blistering pace, was more fun just enjoying the scenery and cruising around or towing a tube or skier. I think the boat probably had another easy 10mph in it, but even at that.

If it's a Hot Rod, then by all means!

« on: March 06, 2010, 07:44:18 PM »
shoulder is feeling better, but still not 100% i can hold my arm over my head, but holding weight still hurts a little....seems the more i use it the less it bugs me....if im not using it the pain will come back, but nothing like 2 days ago

what sucks is i ran out of icy hot, and i am too lazy to goto walgreens and get more

Nordie, just a word to the wise and I'll never say nothing more about it. ( I have a shoulder injury that affects me from time to time as well).

Back problems, shoulders, knees, any other consistent malady like this can be blamed on a LIFETIME of abuse. When ones back goes out, and horribly wrong, requiring surgery, fusion, whatever, they can usually name what caused it. What they fail to realize is it's a lifetime of abuse on it that actually caused it. That one incident is when it finally gave out is NOT the culprit. It's the several thousand dozens of times you've done the same dumb thing.

Just my .02

I know there are a few guys here who do granite and stuff.   And we all know that some of you would even sell your boat for a nice kitchen, but this is just sooo cool.   And yes I stole it from over at RDP but bitchen is bitchen.   Makes me think of another use for bamboo besides the swim steps somebody was making.   What 's the latest on those swim steps anyway?  I want to see more.
Damn I just jacked my own thread.    Even Ray doesn't do that                    much  >:D

Funny thing is, I remember a LOT of us kinda ruining a beach wedding at the AVI  in Oct with loud, obnoxious jet boats at probably the most inopportune time!

Would be nice to know who they were and how bad a grudge they hold about all that!  ;D
