Well this problem is solved. The engine had 3 stiff piston rod assemblies so I took them along with the block to be fixed.
There is at least one bad piston now, the machinest said it really popped when it finially broke loose.
There was no sign of breakage but he said he wouldn't trust it. I trust him so I won't either.
I ordered a new set of L2443NF30 pistons form Jegs.
I'll keep the others for a spare motor I'll build with pop ups if I can find a match or just sell
these if someone else needs them.
According to the specs for the above pistons the CR will be very near 10:5:1

He's a dealer of theirs.
His price was $10.00 HIGHER each, than I got them for from Jegs. INCLUDING
shipping. It would have been $10.00 each $80.00 higher plus shipping.
They said due to the economy being so bad places like Jegs and Summit are dumping their items like this for
what they paid for them.

The seller was running scj aluminum heads with a wicked roller cam. I'm just running
the edelbrock rpm heads.
Do you think they will be ok?

I'm trying to refresh my memory on this. 
The early timing set (68-70) set straight up is 4 degrees advanced compared to the late model set (71 and up). If you put the late model set straight up it's actually 4 degrees retarded...
I got the comp cams early type so I should set it up straight up. What do you expert ford guys think?

So, if I understand this right... the dome is 12cc. The Summit book with their piston of nearly the same part number with the 12cc dome yields 10:5:1 compression with a 92 cc head.
Would you guys agree with that? I really didn't want to run 11:1 or higher and force the need for
racing fuel....
What do you think?

With the heads and block done it would seem you have the best idea. Go with the copper gaskets.
The water won't eat them away.
Did you use good qualtity gaskets or autozone? Not that it matters I'm just curious.

I just hope they can find the boat. I talked to my brother (scuba dives) he told me it would
likely be extremely hard to see down there. He told me about having to "feel around" looking for
a --dy one time. He wasn't the diver that found it as he said "Thank God"
Throw in the under water currents it's hard to tell where the boat landed.
I wish they would find it. The suspense is murder. I dooo feel the pain.

The way I see it I'll have to check the deck heigth when I get the block back.
That is the one variable I don't have the answer to for sure at this time.
It's out for cambearings, hone and super clean... we'll see.

HP is addictive isn't it.
Oh I forgot, Ralph what do you think the CR will be? The block is decked
(no info on what they cut) the heads are 95CC stock stroke.
I have no clue on the dome and that stops me dead in my tracks. I could only go by what
