what undone did/is doing in the other thread is a very nice thing, but this is about something else, is it really necessary to bicker about it all here.  we are just trying to help out a fellow BOATER, i don't think it is about the cool kids or whatever..  brad why not just delete all these posts except the top one and then lock it. that way we have the paypal address, can donate if we want and be done.   just my .02,

I was a little leary about it at first but , it was a piece of cake..........The glue is super easy to work with. I used a plastic trowel.....and threw it away when i was done

A very untechnical post but it's the best I can do for now, maybe it'll help someone search for the right answer. My friend Don has done carpeting in boats many times. If you want the carpet to stick permenently any spray glue is out of the question. Spray glue's break down easily with fuels and oils. He gets glue that comes in a bucket and puts the glue in the boat with a trowel (sp?), let's it sit for a while, then lays the crapet down a section at a time. Good luck.

This is what i used......$25 for a bucket and worth every penny
