We be OK!  Just an inconvenience, a hassle, and yeah, the money, but hey, just keeps me from buying more boats at the moment! It'll be fixed over the next week or so. Lots of favours and slave labour being employed on this one! The toilets and tile I've managed to put on hold for now.

You all already know about the leaky toilet, I've rebuilt once, and rather than spend another $50 or so fixing, the same day I was leaving work to buy the stuff to do so, the Plumbing manager caught me at the register. Seems he found a price reduction on some clearance low-pro 1 pieces. (Some $450 marked down to $120). So I do the math, and buy three. Ones giving fits, the others are 20 years old as well, why not?

Haven't installed any yet, as my bathrooms are carpeted (I know, sooooo 70's), and am going to eventually tile everything in the house, for the most part. I decide I might as well tile the bathrooms before all this and get a head start.    Already got all the tile I need and picked out months ago (Also clearance, I'm cheap where I can be).

(No Moo boat wallpaper HArry, we don't carry it, it can't be ordered, and if I could and WOULD do that, I think that would only serve to intesify the haunting........if that's what this is.)

Yeah......gonna be more complicated than that, as the hallways will have to be done at the same time, as well as the entranceway to the house. OK, still not so bad. He also wants to rip out the cabinets, etc and do under there in case I go with pedestal sinks in two of them (Thinking about that), still not a bad idea. So I go Yeah, why not? You, mostly, already know about the Water Heater. Another matter, but ties in and complicates things, IMMENSELY. Leaking pretty good, but still working, so I got a licensed plumber set up from work to come replace it, for $80 this weekend. I buy all the crap. YEA!! great deal.  He comes over last nite for a look see, and the heater is in the garage, but backed up against the only wall (3 foot portion, really)common to my basement. And APPARENTLY, I haven't seen this water before because its been running down the wall, rotted out some wood behind the tank, been running along the basement wall, ruining the furring strips holding up the peneling down there, as well as some of the paneling, then under a very small portion of concrete to the floor drain (Fortunately, THAT worked). Obviously, theres also a good, solid Mold issue......the guns were locked up........good thing!

After he showed me the part where it was running down the wall of the garage, I had already started drinking. Not beer either. By the time we reached the basement to take a peek under a piece of paneling and under a small portion of carpet, I was foregoing any mixers in the Rum, and by the end was cocktail glasses of Single Malt Scotch saving room for 1 ice cube.(Something I may never be able to afford again after all this! lol).

Welcome to home ownership, lol. (it gets a lil worse, but that was the estimate he gave me using his current subcontractors on an "official" basis. I STILL get to pay a fraction of that, which is most unpleasant in and of itself!)

Had a toilet go out last week, found a smokin deal on some real nice Kohler one pieces, so I bought three (Might as well replace 'em all, they're gonna go too I'm sure), and has mushroomed itself into tiling the bathrooms while I'm at it........... Then I got home today to find my water heater leaking pretty seriously!  And, of course, all the fittings are sweated on, a boats gotta be pulled into the street (Along with quite a bit of other crap) while I deal with this, yada-yada-yada

I'm startin' to sound like Bob now.....huh?

Na, he dun need spots. I got 'em all, and Moo's ugly enough on her own! Rivertard has udders for his and the John Deere green thing goin on so I think we got the farm theme pretty well wrapped up.

I miss the farm back east kinda....... the heavy equipment and storage      Pops won't let me steal his backhoe and bring it out here, lol. We also never had a neighbor's daughter that looked like YOURS though! JEEZUZ! Now I know where all the Farmer's Daughters jokes came from.........

Did Tdawg notice any stickers or residue?  It just hit me seeing those pics awhile ago.

IF that thing was ever raced, there'd be no saddle tanks, I would assume, let alone the fills for them for as many paint jobs as it's had. As far as the engine placement, someone mighta been trying to get it to handle well for everyday use. (Nothing THAT hull will probably ever do)

Given what it is, I'd bet it hasn't seen a LOT of use, and the 'glass issues on the sponsons were from it's life on the beach! You don't see many Flatbottom Hydro's ever! Let alone one that wasn't a former, beat up race boat!

I haven't noticed either of those issues? I would suspect an internet setting or security software setting on your end. OC2 would know more about that.
