is the only casting number on the inside of the head? i dont want to have to remove my exhaust just so i can pull a valve cover to see what heads i have. the only mark i can find on the outside is on the passenger head at the rear. "6318" and a "1"

Then she got more pissed and decided she was just going to leave the house immediately. While thrusting her leg back into the leg of her pants she caught the nail of her big toe on the hem of the pants and ripper her big toe nail up off the nailbed completely. OUCH ! The toe is now purple and swollen and bleeding. Instant Karma is sooo hard not to laugh at but I'm trying.
and yet somehow its your fault she ripped off her nail...

not sure why kids would not be safe with a v-drive... its tucked 2 feet up in under the boat... if anything a vdrive is safer than all for kids, nothing hanging at the back of the boat to mess with.

thats a pretty lookin trailer. love all the attention to the inner frame rails. also looks like 2" square axles so its not too old or its been completely redone by someone. hell of a deal for someone.

i personally have a rule 1100 in my boat, figured the bigger the better without stepping into the 1500+ which get a lot bigger in size. get yourself the floater and wire it up with a manual override switch at the dash as well.
hopefully you'll never need it. but make sure you lift the floater from time to time and make sure its working.

vdrives require a LOT of setup, tweaking, and gear. all of which means more money and more to maintain. more to cool. you have a transmission, etc. which also means less room in the boat. jets are simple. as long as the pump is in good working order they're pretty much bulletproof. i loved the simplicity of my old jet...
also depends on what you're wanting to do and how deep your pockets are...

You use long bolts. But the bolts aren't part of the exhaust tips themselves. Use stainless bolts only with nylock nuts and nice thick washers on the inside. 3m marine silicone to seal them. The bolts will probably be in different spots so be prepared to fill some holes up with epoxy filler.

im 6'2 and i was never comfortable in my 18 footer. i had to shimmy to get under the deck and the angle of the gas pedal my shin was about 1/2" away from the edge of the dash. always hunched over. my seat was stuck directly to the floor straight across from the stringer.
