welcome to SCJB. that looks like a good deal if there is no rot in the stringers no soft spots in the floor .If it has fiberglassed in gas tanks they are a problem looking for a place to happen. Check the  trailer for  rust in the frame probably good to do the bearings and seals and redo the lights but it looks like a good place to start 

I know the 6.0 Powerstroke has a lot of problems.  A local GM dealer has a 2004 DRW Lariet with just under 100K miles for $18,000.  Assuming nothing has been done yet, what am I looking at to do preventatively?   Costs?  I don't expect to keep it a long time but I do want to drive to Alaska next summer.  Any experience with real world mileage info would be nice too.

If your going to ALASKA next year you have to pass within a couple of miles of my place .you better plan on stopping in.
