The No Wake Zone / Engine oil drain

Suck it out cold

Sent from my SPH-L720 using SoCal Jet Boats mobile app
I'm with Ralph let it sit a couple days and use what ever method to drain or suck it out. The Wally mart ones work good for 12 bucks by overtone but I use a remote turbo oil pump from a rhino :)

Did you measure the widest opening it looks like you can just cut it straight and set the pump back a tad to make a berk intake fit and just as a pimp brace

Hulls / Motor mouny hull repair
« on: May 12, 2014, 09:45:26 PM »
1550 for a quarter stringer repair?!?! Wtf that's ridiculous. I'm so sick and tired of all these shops trying to rip off fellow boaters just because they know how much we love out floats....really f***ing 1550??? It's wood, it's glass, it's a cut off wheel and some sanding. Wanna save yourself 1300 bucks??? Google is your friend. Don't be afraid to get dirty. 1550...i wish somebody would quote me that to replace 1/4 of a stringer so I can take that quote, roll it up nicely and shove it up their a**. It's 400 bucks in material at worst...not to mention he's paying his workers 14/hr soooo he's making 900 bucks off your dilemma. Wow! I have 3 guys right now that are ready to replace both stringers on a 3/4 stringer float for 500 bucks.

Until you do the labor intensive work I'd quit your crying. That's a fair price if you ask me

The No Wake Zone / Re: Jet vs v drive
« on: May 12, 2014, 07:57:34 PM »
All I'm gonna say is I'm going back to a vdrive but that's cause I have a jet also. But in my opinion vdrives can be a but pricer then a jet depending on how far you want to take it and what fits your needs and life style. I grew up on flatty a bit my dad told me to sell the vdrive and buy a jet for my safety lol. But in the end it's up to you and what your trying to achieve and what suits your needs. Boating isn't cheap to begin with unless your on a run to Bert's and finance a 120 a month twin jet yamaha. But with that being said it's all about the experience and fun times and memories you create while boating
