Thanks! Called Omar, cuz I was supposed to pick up some parts from him and Andy's Bahner tomorrow, and told him i wasn't coming because I had no place to put the Bahner now, all he did was laugh at me, lol. :banghead:

2Sav's rubbing off on me. Maybe it's a Zona thing, like Valley Fever.

I hope so. The thing ain't no hot rod, but does sound pretty healthy. Just counting the minutes til I can go bring it home. Gonna hafta take it to work and look at it in the dam parking lot all day tho.............Might take it out tomorrow, however, I'm off!

Still, lol

Aiight, PM me your cell and I'll let you know whether we have it or can get it when I get in there. Going to go get my new submarine right now!, lol.

Ray

Update, called my master electrician, we think it's an in stock item, he's calling sylvania to make sure. He's gonna call me back with the SKU and I can check stock in your HD from my phone to see if they have it.

Thanks!

It may well have had , at one point. Will find out more tomorrow night when I bring it home. Actually Friday when I can look at her closer in MY garage! I was sooo stoked, I took about 35 pics of it and left my camera on the deck of it. (Hadda get to work, guy called me to tell me he had my camera)

Interior was redone about a year or so ago, and where those woulda been is where they put in speakers on teak sidepanels.

Ray

Still haven't forgot about the moo, now commissioned "Udder Nonsense". I figure everyone in a mid-life crisis need a hot rod! Just debating now what boat I'm taking out on Sunday...............

Thanks Jeremy, Couldn't find much bad about it, 'cept for the original metal flake gel coat that still shines. Some bumps and dings, but nothing major, it is 30 years old! Looks like some minor oil leaks, I suspect, but no milkshake evidence, and the old guy had it out last sunday with his grandson I'm told. Has had the engine rebuilt at some point, I can tell that much. Other than that, damn thing is sweeet! Sorry I didn't give anyone else the chance to get her, but I'll keep my eyes peeled!  :sly:

Crewcheif would be proud, nearly impossible to terrorize my children in this thing I think. :(

And the price was right!

Ray

Now to deal with the Yellow Sub, need more room. Can't get the Bahner until I clear something out, such a quagmire I put myself in. But will be a fun summer!

Congratulations Bob! Sounds like an awesome compromise.

I walked away from Retail years ago for the same reason. Young kids. Came back to it a couple of years ago 'on conditions'. (And honestly, I did miss it). Miracle Home Depot hired me into that with my background.
I was only an associate, and worked my 40 a week (No more 70-80 hour salary gig), and played stupid so I didn't overshadow my managers and District manager. Was fun messing with them for a change, the idiots.

Still kinda work that, 'cept for the last couple of weeks playing store manager, but I like my gig. Been harder as a single parent, that's why the Mead trip, and more to come to make up for it.

Sounds like you made the right move. My lil bro's in industrial sales, and he's out of state, or country, seems like about 15-20 days a month. Plus his own machine shop/mold shop. Hard on his kids, and proly has a lot to do with his ongoing divorce.

That's no life.

..... to stop me from buying Goddam Boats??? Omar wants to know.

Saw this thing on Craigs list this morning and was gonna post it on the Cragslist Spam thread. Called the guy, he lowered his price from $4700, then to $4200, by the time I got there to eyeball it, he had lowered it again to $3500. I got it for $3.

Obviously, no need to post it.

Summit's right there in town too, aren't they? Dunno if they'd have anything you could use or not, or even if they have a retail store there, but would be worth a phone call.

Since I told my brother he's getting the new one, (Madddog's Bahner)at least to drive (He's in the middle of a divorce, gonna STAY mine for the ime being) He has this brilliant idea of installing his supercharged Lexus GS 400 engine in it!

The Idea is GROWING on me, lemme tell you. Gonna suck to trash that car for the engine, but whatever.

I KNEW it was a matter of time before 'Import Nights' tried this.

I can well imagine. I CAN tell you, might be able to show you if my bud can email HIS pics (My phone with the pics got drowned at Mead), of what happens to a Trio (His old phone) when hit with a 357 Maximum  (200 grains) at 125 yards.

Actually, I let him shoot 5 270 rounds at it and only scare it before I opened up on it. Hit it 3 times outta 4, the second shot pretty much obliterated it, and the third hit was what was left of the back of it.

Fun to be sure.

Perfect? :sly: Test run?  :sly: O0

I've been watching the wrong threads!

You might wanna really think about some anti-slip stickers on that Plexi though. Looks cool as hell, but also slippery as hell! I see an ER visit from those myself.

Ray

Good luck, good looking boat! And have fun this summer with it bro!

Update:
Got the little bitch into the water just for a leak test about 5pm tonight. The test was successful - there were leaks! Nothing major. I think I can get all of them snuffed out tomorrow. We may get 1 more day of nice weather.

Quote
I just rolled onto my back on the floor of my little bitch boat and lay there for 20 minutes (cause I'm kinda an old fkr now).

Maybe it's just me, lol But I never got much when I used that kinda terminology with my cars, or the boat. (Let alone the ladies, tho these days, you're pretty much OK as long as you don't spout off the "C" word, lol). Maybe talk nicer to it? Dunno if that'll help, Just me thinking out loud. (Funny though!!!)

At least you found somewhat of a solution, that's good. Funny stuff, keep it up!

Ordered, not received yet, hoping the small Spaghetti strap fits my daughter (12) (She INSISTED she had to have an SCJB shirt, She's gonna make some guy a great Boat B---- some day!). We'll see. Ordered Old School for RJ and me tho.

Looks great Brad. Now we'll all look like we belong to something!

Ray

(Gonna order some more, but at 90 degrees, see no need for a hoodie at this time. And gotta wait and see if the thong fits me or not!!)

Just a suggestion, but, can they make some collered polos with the logo on the breast too? (Back optional) Would seem they would offer that? Then I'd wear 'em to work!!

Here's Moo (The dog) in all her glory the other day. Loves the boat, not the noise though, might hafta rethink my position on the baffles. But she loves to 'pretend'. so here she is pretending.(Can't work on the boat without her being in the boat or around)

Apparently driving hard

And checking out her roost......(Guess I gotta get her one of those......

See why I hadda buy this boat???  ;D
