The wire from starter solenoid to ballast is for 12volts to coil during starting.

The missing terminal is for ignition ballast resistor or low oil switch.

Been purchasing gas at Bullhead Sams club weekly for the last four years. Three cars and two boats, never had any issues. It only takes one bad tanker load of fuel to ruin your day.
