thanx for the input i need to take the cover off and replace the hinges any ways will check when i get it off.... still a little to cold to take it to the river right now,not to mention the river is way too high right now due to all the damn rain!!!!!!!!

also i was thinking of putting a cold air intake on my engine..... will this help out on power or not? and will i have to get a marine air filter or will a regular automotive filter work?

i found out that it was manufatured for volvo by legend.... still trying to find out if a berkley diverter will work on this pump. and still looking for one also..

i was just out in the garage and noticed that my boat has chrome tipped thru hull exhaust with rubber flappers on it.... my question is can i take these flappers off the tips and run my boat that way,or will i flood the engine with water apon power down?

ok here is what i have found out today, i made a phone call to volvo penta and inquierd about the jet drive, i was told that legend jet drives cast the pump for volvo in 1995. and that it uses the same nozzle as a berkley jet. so if anyone has a berkley jg jc or jb style diverter that they would like to sell please let me know..... thanx again for all the help

wife suggested buying white and dyeing it purple dont know how well that would work out... i have tried every carpet house around here and they cant get it either, was thinking of going with yellow but then u have the mud problem as most of our boating is on the Ohio river.....
