 Tony,(oops, I mean HOLLYWOOD  )  I don't care what anybody says this thing never had a fin  .  Trust me, if there ever was one there I would of found signs of it while sanding the floor.  The red one that sold on PB a while back didn't have a fin either.

SnoC653, Nice to see you back here.  I was thinking to set the rideplate at 2deg up and the outer plates a couple deg down to start, and go from there.    It should be a safe place to start, I think. 

 Here's the proof, It made it out of the garage tonight  !!!  And yea, I still need to take over to Ironmans shop to fix the fenders.    But, it holds fuel. 

 

 I came home, put it back in the garage, closed the door and turned on the fuel pump, no fuel.    The stupid pump wouldn't prime.  I blew into one of the tanks until the pump got fuel and then it started to work, turned it on and off a few times and it worked fine after that. I might need to move the pump, we'll see  .  I have few small fuel dribbles to fix around the carbs and the fuel pressure wont adjust below 10psi.  I'm going to swipe the regulator out of the Daytona and try that one. 

 But, THE BEAST RUNS  !!!!!  It coughed one minor ball of fire out of a carb then fired right up    And I have to say this,  FU## single carb tunnel rams !!!!  Even untuned this thing sounds sooooooo much better than before, and the throttle response is 1000% better. Looks like I'm going to have to wait till Sunday to do the carb tunning. Its still to dark when I get home from work. And I need to get it outside so I can run some water through it, not to mention this thing is realy f###### loud in a closed garage.   

 

 

 I'm not 100% sure on this but if I remember right there are 2 different Dominator bowls, (early and late) the early ones have a smaller diameter on the exit side and don't flow as well as the newer ones without some work.

 

Its things like this that make me wonder why I'm building a boat instead of just buying a finished one  .

beerjet,  If this truck is your daily driver just fix the door and call it done.  Remote door latches can be a pain in the ### !!! 

 Lets think about this...
  Scenario #1.... You take the family to the lake.  Back the boat down the ramp. Everyone gets out.  You walk back to unhook the boat.  As the door closes behind you, you think wheres the remote (its on the keyring, in the running truck, that you cant get into). 
 Sure, you can add a "secret button" to pop the door open, and hope the thieves don't find it. 

 Scenario #2.... Your getting ready to go to work. You walk out to the truck, push the little button on your remote, and nothing happens  .  Lets try this again, push the little button a little harder, still nothing.  Well maybe the remote is broken.  Good thing you were smart and had that "secret button" installed  .  You push the "secret button" and nothing happens  .  Due to an act of God, the trucks battery is dead, and you cant get in to open the hood. Or maybe the solenoid that pops the door is bad, or the relay, or the alarm brain, or a fuse, etc, etc, etc. Doesn't matter because there all inside the truck,   and your not.   

Yes i will use a fan to blow my hair but still trying to figure out how to make vroom vroom noises when drinking.

 I just need something to put on the old boat when it gets a motor again. I'm trying to talk 2sav into delivering that 460 of his.  We all need to gather somewhere in the middle and have a swap meet 

 Ive got one of those (single carb).  Do you have a different style to trade?
