I ended up using a wire wheel it didn't gum up at all just dusty A F.
Now i gotta finish sanding , paint, lay the carpet, toss in the interior and head to the lake !
And drop in the fresh chevy of course

Or are you saying you can't get the camping gas in CA?

« on: February 24, 2013, 08:09:34 AM »Doing it to mine today...Home d sells a product by Klean-strip called adhesive remover. Brush it on, let it sit then use a stiff spreader to wipe up. Comes right off...get a few rags to wipe the small areas the spreader didn't get.Ok thanks man that seems much easier than grindin it all off.
I was gunna use jasco but i was afraid it would eat the glass too.
Do they sell decent resin at HD I also need to glass my seatmounts you can see in the pics.
They've never been sealed but i think they can still hold up another couple years at least.

Is it necessary to remove the old carpet glue before installing new carpet?
This s*** is on there good if I do need to remove it what is the best method?
I have plenty of grinding wheels and respirators i also have a badass sander.

I got all the interior torn out I was thinking about just slap on a rhino liner instead of carpet.
Im sure someone here has tried that how is it?
Do they sell kits to re wire these boats?
