You're right the money. I found the valve last night. Although similar mine looks a little different, at least electrically. I'll take a picture and post. Seems like only the right tank level is being read. I wonder if there is a fuse somewhere

I'll have to try that next time out. I thought the switch was just to see the fuel quantity of each tank.

Do both fuel tanks feed the fuel pump at the same time? My right tank is down 1/2 to 3/4 and my right tank stayed full. I have a switch on my panel but I thought it was just to check quantity.

Apparently this sump was a 6 qt capacity. It was overserviced by a quart

That nutsack part sounds painful..got it drained, replaced the oil filters and serviced the engine with 6 qts of fresh oil. I'll recheck the level after I get my batteries back in.

Anyone familiar with a Marine Power 454. Specifically the oil sump and what it's capacity should be. I believe oil sump capacity should be 10 qts. When I sucked the oil out to do a oil change, I removed 9 qts but the oil level on the dipstick was about  and inch and a half past the Full Mark

Actually GT I was the same thing...why not run it the other direction....
My first thought would be the added length but more importantly would be if the cable/rack would interfere with my instruments.
I don't have any experience with these so I don't know how far/deep the rack is from the front mounting point
