Are you running it dry with a garden hose? I couldn't get much through the headers on land but works fine in the water

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Re: Driveline question
« on: May 19, 2014, 08:53:25 AM »

I need a 1310 driveline. Where can I get a complete one? I called a driveline shop but they asked me for measurements. I dont have my engine mounted yet cuz I figured I needed the driveline first to set the correct angle. Anyone have specs on what I need? All I have is the PTO which says 1310. Thanks

Not sure where your located but U&I auto in San Bernardino is really good with drivelines. Got a full driveline for my race truck for $50 and was balanced

Great meeting you today hothallet, I hope everything went well for you guys. Once I worked out my minor bugs, the boat ran fantastic. Had a great time today and averaged 1 mile to the gallon.  ;D

Same to you man. Found a few minor leaks but ran great, had a blast. Got a nice little lobster tan too haha

Intakes
Edelbrock street master
Or performer?
My old engine has a street master
But the replacement engine came with a performer
I have a holly double pump carb

For a dual plane, performer made the most hp on the top end when I was in school

I was planning on taking the boat in my avatar, and what do you mean by "No Water or wet towels"? Hope to see ya out there Hothallet!

Yea should be out there in the morning. Everything has to be dry because the quagga mussel lives in the water and can be brought in from other lakes I believe. Check out the website, it'll say the inspection rules
