Jet Pumps / Hydraulic Place Diverter Leaking
« on: June 23, 2015, 10:17:12 AM »
I have a Hydraulic Place Diverter leaking from the piston cylinder shaft.
Is there a way to replace a seal, and if so how does it come apart.?
Or do you you have to just replace it?
Just need the Hydraulic piston assembly .
If needed where would one find one ?

Also do the Hydraulic Lines have to be bled or not?

I appreciate all your efforts in describing what to look for however, if I could find someone that has successfully installed one of these relief valves  on a Dominator 12S pump with a picture that would really help.
There has to be a bunch out there just have to get a picture by someone.
I'm not going to drill a hole until I'm 100 % sure on the location.
My boat sits on a raised shore station  when not in use on a lake where I live out of the water.
So every time I lower the boat it must sit in the water for a short while to allow the air to escape.

I under stand the drill siz, and tap size, it is the exact placement where to "drill a hole on the top" of the the bell housing, that's
where I'm having trouble....that is where a picture of someones installed air relief valve would really help.
Please see my picture.

Could someone post a picture on the placement of a Air Relief Valve on a Dominator 12 S pump.
I started this question last year but have not drilled a hole to mount the valve as yet.
Want to do it right the first time.
Or measurements as well.

Many thanks

Jet Pumps / Place deverter Hydraulic pump oil?
« on: August 19, 2014, 03:21:09 AM »
I need to add Hydraulic oil to the Place deverter pump reservoir .
What is the best way and what type oil to use?
The reservoir is tucked back on the inside transom so I can't see where to fill the oil.

Anyone have one of these installed in a Dominator 12S pump?
Just where exactly did you drill the hole?
Need measurements.

Thanks

Is there any chance of drilling into something where as to damage any internal parts.
That box is 6 inches out from the transom to the bowel.
Would 1/2 inch from the end of the box be a good place to drill ?
Just being careful.

Found a air relief valve.
Thanks to all who responded.
Now just have to figure where to install it.
See new post on installing valve.

Jet Pumps / Air relief valve for air lock - where to install?
« on: August 06, 2014, 04:02:30 PM »
I have a Dominator 12 S pump with a droop snoop.
I keep getting an air lock when putting the boat in the water.
So I purchased a Air relief valve, but not sure where to install it.
I have a 94 Ultra jet .....there is a square plastic box on the transom that extends 6 inches out, then the round pump housing .
I only want to drill one hole.
Does anyone have experience doing this?

BTW, this is a great forum!!!!

Thanks, in advance

Can these be used with water injection exhaust?
