What about running lights mine dont work but everything else does.

hes located in perris ca. That was 5600 to do the whole boat and thats with all new seat frames and side panels. My boat also has two bench seats in cubby cabin too. He also fiberglassed a sub box in the nose of the boat and fiberglassed a amp rack behind one of the bench seat in the cubby cabin. The guy at mikes canvas wanted 4500 to just re uplostery the exsiting seat frames that where rooted but he said he would put fiber glass over them and boat didnt even have side panels it was just carpet so he wasnt going to do side panels.

Try using a rubbing compound and then wake it Should come a lot better. You might even need to wet sand before using the rubbing compound if your trying to get out scratches.

Yeah I went to that guys shop this weekend and hes going to do my boat. Well see how it turns out.

Whats consider pricey I don't mind spending 3000 but at estimate of 4000 to 5000 almost makes me want to sell my boat and find a different boat. Do you have the name of the business or a phone number for either of these shops.

The clears shines but when you try to lightly sand it and bevel edges a little bit before you spray the clear the metal flake starts to turn silver. I think all the clear does is protect it so it holds it shine. If you want some shop that I went to that specialize in bass boats told me to talk to this guy sal jr over at orange county boats they said hes real good with repairing metal flake damage. I haven't had chance to talk to him yet.

There's metal flake underneath my clear and I'm repairing areas were the clear has chipped off. The metal flake isn't damaged that bad just a little bit of dis coloring but its exposed and needs to be covered back up.

Can you use a clear urethane instead of clear gel to do touch work.

why would you want to do that a outdrive is little better of a set up then jet.

some one told me you cant glass all of the wood because they wont be able to drive the staples in. is this true

Also were are you located and do you have shop. If your near me I might be willing to bring it to you and just pay you. Ive been trying to find a new boat mechanic but it just seems like there's a lot of shady shops around my area that just want to keep taking your money even if they didn't fix it right the first time. Like the guy that put this outdrive on for me.
