still for sale?

Looking for a 460 long block or running carb to pan. doesn't need to be big power just looking to see what's out there. I hurt mine last season and its not building oil pressure with a lot of blowby so just looking for a replacement while I tear into other motor.

what kind of logs did or do you run on your set up? Were both of the water ports located on the front of log or like the Glenwood set up with the port in the front and one in back?
When you bypassed the pre heat did you go pump to water pump cover then from Tstat to logs then to the snails?

So ran boat for basically first time this weekend felt great to finally get on the water after 4 year rebuild. Ran up river and watched temp slowly climb and didn't drop stopped boat before got to hot I hope 200-220 depending on if gauge is correct and float back to ramp. Its a basically stock 460/Berkley set up with a hi rise single carb intake a Glenwood logs. Rookie mistake but oil looked fine and boat still runs...

Got Home last night did my research and just had a few more questions. With the Glenwood logs there is a port at rear of log before the Snail and one in the front of log. I'm assuming for preheating the flow through logs doesn't matter? I also currently just have the CP pressure relief valve coming off the pump, and I read to possibly ditch that or put a gate valve directly after it to set pressure and any excess pressure will be thrown out of relief line.

Currently I'm going through 1. pump to relief valve 2.relife valve to T that goes to front of log 3.front to rear of log 4. rear of log to water pump cover for preheat 5. T stat back to snails and out of exhaust
Only thing I think I can change there is go from rear of log to front instead for preheat as well as add gate valve from what I've read.
Also everything is Hard lined aluminum and -8 AN so all half inch which I hope isn't to small for correct cooling. I read to and really don't want to add a TStat due to sand and stuff from river so maybe just a restrictor plate?

 I compared to buddies BBC set up with thru hull Bassett's and he runs CP relief valve off pump and only difference is the Bassett T valve that gets his restriction I assume and he obviously doesn't have the preheat thru the logs but straight river water from pump and relief valve to water pump cover and boat runs constant 160 and may go to 180 at WOT. And form 1500 RPM to WOT the relief port is constantly throwing out water.

Sorry for long story but I'm looking for any insight on plumbing guidance for the Glenwood logs and hopefully its as easy as adding a Gate valve because I'm ready to run some fuel through this thing the rest of summer Thanks in advance!

The 18s are built more like the 20s i believe but the 19 bottom is a bit different i think. I had river daves old 20 with a small block and i/o and could get 60mph out of it. Always wanted a 18 but got a 20 and buddies got a 19 both run awesome. If you do get it and it has fiberglass tanks ditch those and go diff route other than that highly recommend spectras!!
