No registration, title or VIN. Just a bill of sale from a very shady boat repair business. I went to Blythe DMV and they had me complete a construction form. Everything appears to be good on the DMV side just needs the 93c inspection form and CHP will assign VIN. Apparently the DMV can only assign VIN to single axle trailers now. I have googled the 93c form but nothing shows up. Sounds like CHP just looks for stolen parts and issues me a VIN. I believe it gets registered as a salvage title but i'm not sure.
I got screwed on the trailer so I have no problem telling DMV and CHP about crappy boat shops.

I am in the process of getting a boat trailer registered and was told I need to get an inspection done with the CHP. They need to fill out form 97c. I have googled and can not find a copy of the form or what the inspection details. Does anybody have any information on what this entails? I went buy CHP and the officer who does this is on vacation for two weeks. I was hoping if I knew what they were looking for I could get any repairs completed before my appointment.
